In today's testimony before the Armed Services Committee Hillary Clinton may have revealed the source of the leak of the report. Please have a look at the relevant snippets of the transcript from today.
I guess my theory is this: If she isn't behind the leak, she knows exactly who is.

All the slime from the last administration needs to be shitcanned immediately. But then half the government employees would be gone overnight! The gubmint would grind to a halt!
I'm really trying to think of a downside to that. Give me a moment...one moment please...
I'm thinking...half a moment, if you please....

Did you tell her that they've been doing that for years? It's just that now, more folks are starting to notice. Of course :0)
She said that she's been noticing it but just couldn't understand why they were doing it
Oh Oh .. at one point she was going off about Katie Courtic and how she had to stop watching the Today show because she couldn't take her any more *L*

For what it's worth (boy is this a hazy bit of info) there was a thread over at DU at the start of all this media attention that mentioned one of the posters' sons was stationed at that prison. No one talked about it anymore in that thread.

I haven't read all 500+ replies so I'm not sure if this has already been posted.
Hillary's questioning can be found in RealVideo format at the C-Span Web site, here, starting at 2:44:45.
You'll find it easier to set the time accurately if you make the RealVideo window really wide.

Y'all make some good points, and maybe she has met her match with Rumsfeld. I can only hope and pray that is the case. Rush did make it a point to "mark your calander."
lavrenti - Gorelick isn't destroyed yet, not in the sense that 'the media' has gotten on her case. CBS, ABS, NBS, MSNBS and the print have barely mentioned it other than to stand behind her. Look how the RINOs on the 9/11 commission have done nothing, even refused to criticize her.

I listened to the snip Rush played of Hillary and Sec. Rumsfeld's exchange in Friday's hearing. That was the first time I'd heard mention of the Taguba Report so I didn't have a clue as to what Rush was referring. Immediately after playing the clip, Rush made his "mark your calender" comment. Now that I've read this thread, I understand that Hillary has gotten her slimy little hands on prosecutorial (sp) material that wasn't even available to the Secretary.
What I consider so odd about this bombshell is that no mention of it has been made anywhere except Free Republic and of course, Rush's program. To me, this is a 'heads should roll' offense and I hope Hillary finally meets the Red Queen she tries so diligently to emulate.

If the word is to get out it is up to Rush and FReepers to get it out.

The media has nothing to do with it. They're a separate issue entirely. Getting to this perspective is tough, took me years, but one has to understand that despite the best efforts to tear them down, the core principles of our governing institutions remain.
Hillary! and her ilk succeed when they work the system. They fail when they move beyond its boundaries.
They'll learn, soon enough.

Hillary! and her ilk succeed when they work the system. They fail when they move beyond its boundaries. I wish I could agree with you 100% but I can't.
For anything like this to get widespread coverage, "the media" must trumpet it almost daily.
They will not!

You're right, they won't. Hannity couldn't get any traction with 'memogate', and this whole thing sounds like it came from that.
To: Budge
The media play no meaningful role in this matter. It doesn't make any difference if they broadcast this story or not.
People do get called aside privately and are told to shut up or else.

In all honesty, I don't believe that even Rummy knows for sure which of these were staged and which were real.
The porn site photos are now generally known to be falsified - you and I both know how easy it is to goose up photos and to a lesser extent even videos now.
Until the investigatory team is able to really research what is real and what isn't, I figure it is only wise to believe in the reality of those photos which have been admitted to.
