I totally expect this frm the Democrats. If kerry is down 10-15 points in the fall, he'll drop out and hillary will run a 4-week campaign. It's a total nightmare for Republicans. It is our job to try and get this possibility out in the open now so they won't be able to convincingle pull it on. God Help Us All.

Kerry's too much of a narcissist to ever pull out of a race. He thinks he's God's gift to humanity.

Kerry joined the navy in order to follow in his hero, John Kennedy's footsteps to the White House. He's not about to let anything get in his way now and that includes the beast.
It'll never happen.

This is paranoia piled high. Hillary would lose all the absentee ballots - the US Supremes are not mafia rollovers like those things from Joysey - and she'd lose. Casey will have gotten to swing at bat and zeroed! Bring it on - because that would be the end of hope for the Rats. Finis.

Kerry isnt going to pull a Torecelli, the DEMS might be he wont.

Nothing that woman would do would surprise me. I know that I know she is the one pulling the strings behind the scenes with all of the attacks on Bush for months now. She has her infamous war room in the Senate. She is a dedicated Marxist, and will do whatever it takes to become Tzar, or Czar or Goddess or whatever title she would like.

I don't know, it would definitely mobilize a demoralized DemocRat base (who wouldn't let a little thing like the law get in their way). But it would also bring out the people who were planning on sitting home because Bush was in for an easy victory.

I've saved this article from the American Thinker (great site). It rings very true. This is exactly what the Clintoons and the Demonrats would pull. It's actually a great strategy, and would be very bad for the country and our livelyhood.

- the US Supremes are not mafia rollovers like those things from Joysey - and she'd lose.I agree. algore's attempted theft of the presidency only to get slapped down by the SC is still fresh in the Rats' scheming little minds. No doubt that the Rats' would attempt to claim that since the absentee ballots had HER name on it that the ballots are for HER. Of course they would conveinently forget that her name was in the VP spot and NOT the Pres spot.

Take a pen and a paper and write the following:
"In this time of war, it is impossible for Hillary Clinton to be elected President."
Once you finsih writing the above, take the paper to the bank and put it in a safe case.

Kerry's too much of a narcissist to ever pull out of a race. He thinks he's God's gift to humanity. He could always be a tragic victim of Arkancide. We all know how the Clintons work.

I really wish I owned a major amount of stock in Reynold's Wrap! How many rolls are wasted by people writing this stuff? I wonder if they're using the new NON-STICK kind, the regular, or the heavy duty variety.

Exactly why the Bush camp needs to plan for this contingency. As soon as Hillary is named Veep, the memories of the health care fiasco, filegate, Vince Foster, etc. need to be advertised non-stop, even if it means ignoring Kerry. The sheeple need to be led to expect this very scenario so, even if it doesn't happen exactly as outlined, they will be conditioned to think Hindenberg, the figurehead, and Hitler, the real power.

I have long contended that Kerry won't make it past the convention. But not for the reasons so far articulated:
1. Kerry lacks passion - the activist Democrats are passionate about visceral issues. Deaniacs and Gore-ites want not only to remember Florida 2000 but take the White House by storm. Kerry is too nuisanced and bland to ignite this base.
2. Kerry in a box on war - Nader will pull Deaniacs and Gore-ites, particularly if the war scene does not radically improve before election. Rightly or wrongly the UN arranged transition plan takes away Kerry's only distinguishing angle as pro-war with a French twiest.
3. Oh no! That Good Economy - Kerry is on the defense with the improving economy. Any wailing from Kerry on an improving economy showing steady job growth and improved 401-K returns will look petty and cynical.

This is what I have been expecting for some time, although I thought that hillary would do it at the Convention. But this is a possibility.
I don't know what the Supremes could do about it if Kerry simply stepped down. And while I agree that he is a consummate self-concerned narcissist, who loves nobody but himself, I think hillary is perfectly capable of arranging that he step down, one way or another. The FBI files are very complete; or failing that, another possibility is a small plane accident.
If Kerry steps down, SOMEBODY has to run for the presidency against Bush. The logical person would be the VP candidate. The Supremes didn't stop a senator's wife from assuming his seat when he died during the election.
Whether hillary would be elected is another matter. I hope not.
