Coburn Volunteer Training Next Week
As mentioned in our last newsletter, the Coburn For Senate Campaign is poised have one of the biggest and most effective grassroots campaigns in Oklahoma history. Phase One of that campaign is identifying volunteers, which we are busily doing with your help.
We will begin Phase Two of our massive grassroots push with volunteer training sessions next Friday and Saturday (OKC training Friday, May 14th, Tulsa and Muskogee training Saturday, May 15th). Terry Allen and Michael Schwartz (see bios below) will be providing insider information on proven methods of grassroots campaigning!
Rarely does a campaign try a volunteer program of this magnitude; the manpower and organizational requirements are immense. However, we will be able to field the volunteers necessary for this endeavor because of Dr. Coburn's uncommon political character. Since so many Oklahomans recognize his commitment to honesty over political expediency and his courage to fight against fiscal and moral corruption, we will be able to spread Dr. Coburn's message in a way that few candidates even attempt.
Please make every effort to attend one of the training sessions. The volunteer program is intentionally simple but very effective. The volunteer time commitment required is minimal. However, hundreds of volunteers are needed to get Dr. Coburn's message of fiscal responsibility and conservative values to the entire state.
The Training times and locations are as follows:
Oklahoma City Training - Friday, MAY 14th - 6:00 to 8:00 PM UCO Campus in Edmond - Nigh University Center 100 North University Drive Contact Regional Director Greg Treat at 405-721-4281 for more information.
Tulsa Training - Saturday, MAY 15th - 10:00 AM to 12 PM. TULSA CITYPLEX TOWERS - East Atrium Room 81ST & LEWIS Contact Regional Director Derek Sparks at 918-294-8352 for more information.
