This joke of a congresswoman just stated that our troops have no clue why they are in Iraq.

"Big deal--she compared this to MY Lai. I am so sick of this. She is no friend of the military. Another lady who shouldn't have ever been allowed in the army. Raising the specter of Vietnam is just so unhelpful. This is really tragic and disgraceful."


Not making excuses for what she said, just that she served in the military and knows from her experience this could not ever have happened where she served, at least not with "photos"! Now what gives this its most vulgar aspect is the fact that "photos" were taken in an party like atmosphere and there is no way typical military command would tolerate such.

The fact that no one is the least bit concerned or questioning how it was that so many photos were taken as well as "video" of what was going on is what makes the whole affair suspect.

Now who ever took the photos and then sent them to the media, knew darn well what they were doing....

That old saying a picture is worth a thousand words.

A 10-year pioneer on Capitol Hill, 76-year-old Rep. Carrie P. Meek (D-FL) recently used the annual Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference in Washington to introduce her choice for successor in Congress.

At her annual "Congressional Classroom" event, Florida's first Black woman lawmaker presented her son, Kendrick, who was the winner of a recent Congressional primary and a shoo-in to replace her in Congress.

More than 126 constituents welcomed the 36-year-old Meek to carry on the family name in the House. A Florida state senator, Meek long has had ambitions to follow in his mother's footsteps.

We are not to abuse prisoners.I read an Email from a soldier who spoke about how hard it was not to shoot at the cheering crowd while a buddy burned in a truck that had been attacked.No one would have blamed the troops watching the cheering crowd for shooting..except their military.We don't do that.

This same soldier was mad as heck at the abusive behavior and photos and wants the perps punished for staining their honor.The provocation from the prisoners ,in custody cannot have been so great.

The perps were out of control and breaking the law.They were mugging for the camera and disgracing themselves and their uniform.More,more brutal pictures are also held in the criminal investigation.Rumsfield was shaken by them.

He and Myers just saw them last night and that's why they look so tired,I imagine.There are hundreds of pictures and he says its bad.He hasn't seen the video.
