Rush said a few minutes ago, that if Bush apologizes, it's all over for him. Huh?

Are they going to apologize for hanging dead American body parts from wires and bridges?

I am so disappointed in Bush for sinking to this level.
He should send a couple of nukes instead.

Stick a fork in him. He's done. Say hello to President Kerry.

Rush said a few minutes ago, that if Bush apologizes, it's all over for himAll over for who? Bush?
Is Rush not enough of a man to apologize for something that happened to humiliate a group of people?

Rush was talking about it aminute ago. I disagree that he had to apologize to anyone. Remember the key difference between this action at the prison and F'n Kerry's actions in Viet Nam. In the prison, the guards were mostly alleged to have humiliated prisoners. In Viet Nam, Kerry has suggested that he killed non combatants!
To: Glenn
Oh well. He did it, but they won't drop it. He must know what he's dealing with in these democrats.
Maybe it'll blow up in their faces. One can only hope.

If correct, this is where the Bushbot spin machine kicks in -- he means he's sorry it happened, but not that he's apologetic. Just like the time the U.S. clearly apologized to the Chicoms for surviving their attack on our surveillance plane, and most everybody here insisted that we didn't.

Rush said a few minutes ago, that if Bush apologizes, it's all over for him. Huh? And Rush insisted that Hillary wouldn't run, that the GOP would gain in 1998, and that Bush would win by more than expected in 2000.
To: Howlin
IMO, there needs to be an expedited investigation and fast-track courts martial. Let the heads roll and forget about it, move on and don't look back.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) told Jordan's King Abdullah on Thursday he was sorry for the humiliation suffered by Iraqi prisoners who have been abused by their American jailers.
"I told him I was sorry for the humiliation suffered by the Iraqi prisoners and the humiliation suffered by their families," the Republican president said during a Rose Garden appearance with Abdullah.

I posted it two minutes later than you.
I watched the whole press conference. You have got a fantastic president.
He is being tested now. I have the confidence that he will pass with flying colors.

We're now officially a nation of softies. Apologizing during a war for some hurt feelings and some humiliation of terrorists.
Unreal.
