For the life of me, I can't figure out what the heck he's talking about.
He started this and now he's whining, all because I stated what I said about him yesterday!
To: Texasforever
"Little Joe is cashing checks he can't cover."
I guess that would explain why his two cents worth always bounce.
To: Texasforever
Oh, the brown thing. Well, you know that bothers him.

Rush is hysterical if he thinks this will cost him an election Rush may calm down by tomorrow .. He was pretty hot from the comments ofthe dems and a few lib callers .. One guy called in and I thought Rush's head was going to explode *L*
I know mine was about to ... the news of this apology came at the end of his show and I think took Rush off guard a bit .. but he did make a comment that the dems lost an issue to scream about

Thank you. I'm only back for a couple of days but it sure is good to see things don't change around here. The Kerry Kids are ratcheting up their anti-Bush BS and Joe still hasn't hadenuf.
Predictable.
So, do you know where I could hire some cheap lettuce pickers (wink, wink nod, nod)?

Whether Bush apologizes or not makes no difference to the Dems. Whether Rummy stays on or steps down won't make one iota of a difference to the Dems, either. These aren't the issues driving the Dems of today. The real issue is their sheer hatred of the Bush administration, no matter what they say or do. The Dems won't stop their nonsense even after a Dem gets into the White House. The Dems are just as dangerous out of power as they are in power.

Notice how the Dems are outraged over a photo of an Iraqi wearing a black hood but dismiss photos of Robert Byrd wearing a white hoot.

I have no problem with it, or even the way he did it. I was simply pointing out that his particular choice of words could be the source of significant spin if either side chooses to do so. That's all.

Take Jimmy Carter, add Bill Clinton, subtract Monica Lewinsky, and you are left with George W. Bush. Bush would be considered a radical leftist forty years ago. The only thing he's got going for him is that he can be trusted alone with your teenaged daughter in the Oval Office. That's it. He's a well-meaning affable guy who decided to grow up at the tender age of forty, got Jesus, and is trying his best to live a good life. It isn't enough. Instead of admonishing and chastising our domestic enemies, he tries to accomodate them. Instead of sticking up for these troops, he apologizes for them. He could at least have said something that compared the savagery inflicted on our people with the frat house humiliation these POWs had to endure, but he's got to be sensitive to the sentiments of those who cheered as the WTC collapsed. That attitude will lose us this war.
It is beyond belief that people at this forum consider him a conservative. We don't need a Sunday school teacher for President, we need a ruthless, calculating SOB who won't take no guff off of no one. Bush is unwilling or unable to comprehend the Islamist mindset. Either way, he's trying to make friends with those who hate us. His is a mentality guaranteed to lose us this war.

From what I've read and heard, the soldiers were instructed to humiliate the prisoners to soften them up for interrogation.
My old man talked about how they'd threaten German POWs with being thrown alone into the Italian compoiund to do the same thing in North Africa.

Ma'am, I did not tar and feather every frat member. You said that this resembled what occured at a frat not me. I merely said that if it was indicative of what occured there I would not want my son to get near one.

I agree with your comments about a frat prank. These pictures look staged and when you stop to think about it these kids could be college fraternity people that were called in Active Duty with the Reserves. One of my son's fraternity brothers was called up by the Marine Reserves and was in Iraq and Afghanistan. Live in a college town, my son is in a fraternity, and I would hate to report what has happened on occasion even though hazing is outlawed.
If you trace your comments, you agreed with others that said that this looked like a fraternity prank. It would appear then that you were the one that tarred and feathered frat members.
