Law to keep brain-damaged woman alive ruled unconstitutional (Baird Rules Against Terri)

TAMPA -- A judge ruled Thursday that the law pushed by Gov. Jeb Bush to keep a severely brain damaged woman alive is unconstitutional. The governor's office filed an immediate appeal.

This is exactly how Hitler started his "ethnic cleansing" program. Get rid of the useless eaters who have no "quality of life".

From what I understand, we have nothing to indicate Terri Schiavo wanted to die except her husband's word. Also, what is the issue is merely removing here feeding and hydration (water) tubes. Can this be considered 'forcing' someone to live? It sounds to me it's just being given the necessary food and water we all require. It's not unique that an individual is not able to care for himself (herself in this case). I assume M.S. is the legal guardian and that's what gives him the legal authority to prevent her from being fed. In general, this ultimately means that a guardian can decide if his or her charge can be killed by the simple expediency of claiming they 'chose' to die in and then denying food and water to them. I'm not aware of anyone who would NOT eventually die if denied these things. (As an aside, if she can be denied food and water, can she also be denied oxygen?)

I agree pc!! I heard this this morning. Far as I can see, your Constitution, which is one of the greatest documents ever written, next to the Bible, has been thoroughly pi$$ed on until it no longer even resembles what the founders intended. God help our Countries!!

Yes they are evil. The mass populus would relate more to the incompetent factor than the evil one and that's why I used that terminology. I've been gone for nearly two weeks and have fallen behind on my work toward petitioning for King, Greer, and Baird to be removed from office. I don't want to leave any doubt in anyone's mind why they need to be booted!
I'm a WWII history buff and have done a lot of posting of the Nazi's philosophy and work towards eliminating those who are 'useless' eaters. Why anyone can't see that America is headed down the same path is beyond me.

In November, Judge Baird said IN COURT that the law was 'presumptively unconstitutional'. That is even though constitutionality is PRESUMED and the buden of proof is on the person(s) challenging the law.

Later, he denied a request from the Governor that he be served in the same county the law was written, even though the Governor enjoys 'home plate' privilege on such things.

Later, he blocked the parents from intervening, even though they have a demonstratable legal interest in the outcome of the case.

Later, he denied the Governor a jury trial.

Then, he denied the Governor discovery.

Then, he denied the Governor access to depositioning witnesses.

Then, he accepted a request to issue a summary judgment.

All of these things (save 1, maybe) were sent right back to him from the 2nd DCA, citing that he did not follow the rule of law.

That being said, Baird was transferred to criminal court some months ago, but of all the cases in his work load, he decided to hang on to this particular one and not pass it along to his predecessor.

There might very well be a heavenly father, but when did that job title go to a gin-blossom wearing good old boy in a black robe?

Terri Schiavo was left severely brain damaged more than 14 years ago after her heart stopped beating because of chemical imbalance brought on by an eating disorder.

There is also the testimony of her best friend, who said that 2 years before Terri's sudden collapse, Terri and she had been watching a movie on Karen Ann Quinlan, and Terri told her friend, "as long as there is life, there is hope"...and that she did not believe life support should be removed from a person in a coma!

Terri also told a friend that she was thinking of getting a divorce!

Now, if an off handed comment, that MS says Terri made, is enough to have her killed...what about those comments she told her friends? Can't these two comments get her a divorce and save her life?

In the Axis of Evil also known as the Sixth Circuit, Judges take cases with them when they change positions. Terri's case went to the Criminal Courthouse Complex with BAIRDY BOY. (none are worthy of being called "your honor".

I was at the last Schiavo v. Jeb hearing. Bairdy Boy slumped down in his chair and his face was RED. It looked to me as if he was going to SIDE WITH HINO but felt a little ashamed THAT HE WOULD BE DOING SO.

We need NATIONAL HELP BIG TIME NOW. EVERY STATE..... I don't trust the Second DCA.

By the way, TERRI CAN SWALLOW. She doesn't drool. She swallows her saliva.

The litigation against Jeb tied him up in court so he couldn't act outside of the parameters of the lawsuit. UNFORTUNATELY, for the first time in history of the United States, a defendant in a Civil case was denied the right to take depositions and do discovery. Every defendant in a Civil Case has the right to defend themselves, unless it's about TERRI. Where's JOHN ASHCROFT, USAG? Janet Reno kidnapped Elian Gonzalez. Why can't JOHN ASHCROFT legally RESCUE TERRI???????
