I didn't hear the entire program, so perhaps I missed the part where he "condemned the president", because I would not agree with that. I thought he aquiesced the point to a woman caller that the president, as our leader, had to address the situation to the Arab world. I thought he made valid points when he said we could not allow the issue to be taken out of context and blown out of proportion when compared to the much larger percentages of good that we do and have done in that part of the world at great cost to us in lives and resources. I thought he was saying that those who are trying to use this as a political club shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, and I agree with him about that.

As far as I know, all he said was that the president should not have apologized. I guess he said that because no Arabs have apologized for the murders they committed. However, I believe he should have apologized - ONCE - and now he should drop it. He's done more than necessary.
