Media will cover the abuse by a few nutcases and skip the bigger picture -- like Americans drug through the street or the bomb going off IMHO!

This has been under investigation since January and now WP is getting all these photo's? Something smells about this whole deal. Hope they throw the book at the culprits who are torturing the prisoners.

I don't know. Have to admit that I think this is truly sick and as I said on the other thread.

The Fallujah atrocities were commited by some scum islamofascists, mudhut swelling savages.

This was commited by members of the United States Military.

There is a sharp difference.

And all the pictures and videotaping? And, the media getting access to all this...

I think Bush did an excellen job today in the interviews, but it needs to be followed up by deceive action.

I trust the President to do the right thing.

Somebody close to the investigation is leaking. And that is as troubling as the abuse.

" The pictures were among those seized by military investigators probing abuses at the prison."

Yes it does. And that woman's family commented that, in effect, she shouldn't be there, that we shouldn't have fought the war, etc.. Standard anti-war boilerplate. I find that very suspicious. Is it possible that these abusers did so in order that it be discovered, to discredit the U.S.? Seems crazy, but can they maybe have believed that there wouldn't be any real punishment? This whole thing is absolutely, completely NUTS-- but then again, so are most anti-war types.
