God Bless the United States Marine Corps!

The Corps exists simply to kill the enemy and to break stuff. It's really a very basic concept. Their marching cadences include lines such as, "I want to be a killing machine...a flat bellied, steely eyed, killer." Just the mention of the USMC should bring terror into the hearts of those who wish to bring harm to this country. A popular saying among Marines goes, "Mess with the best, die like the rest."

Having sad that, the Southern Spectator is disappointed in what appears to be political interference in Iraq, especially related to the U. S. Marine Corps in and around Fallujah. There has been way too much talk of cease fires and the like, and there also has been way too many news headlines such as, "U.S. Marines negotiate a 'tentative' agreement to pull back forces from Fallujah."

The Marines don't negotiate. The Marines face their enemies and eradicate them. Negotiations are not required. When you face the USMC you have gone passed the point of negotiation - you have signed your own death certificate. The next stop is the great beyond.

The Bush Administration has said that our nation "does not negotiate with terrorists," and we at the Southern Spectator take them at their word. The administration has also said that they will not interfere with the military's mission.. The administration basically consists of good people who love their country. But they need to let the Marines be the Marines and not some new version of the United Nations.

We at the Southern Spectator, with a combined 26 years military service, salute the brave men and women of the United States Marine Corps.

Personally, I'd be a lot happier if Marines didn't have to die because of the dumb ass things Diplomats do...

Perhaps one day, Marines won't be placed on the ground until after we have reduced everything to rubble...

I agree 100%! The U.S. Marines are trained killers and not policemen! When the Marines are called in to do the job, that means to completely destroy the enemy-no quarter and no mercy! This is war and American lives are at stake. The politicians need to shut up and let the Marine Officers and NCOs do their job! Marines know how to put fear in their enemies and they know how to kill them too! All Marines are basic riflemen and killers, their major job is effective combat! They are the Best! Look at the statistics in Fallujah, over 700 insurgents killed by U.S. Marines during that battle and who knows how many wounded! The terrorists
cried and pleaded for a cease fire like the cowards that they are! Keep a close eye on names like Major General James Mattis & Lt. Col. Brennan Byrne-they are making Marine Corps History! I would like to have all Freepers remember and pray for all of our brave service men and women-they are all doing an OUTSTANDING job!

I appreciate the sentiment, but that would take all the fun out of it...

As I've said in another post about the Marine at Fallujah, they want virgins? We'll be glad to send them there. Marine exist to give our enemies the ability to die for their cause or their country.
