"Then adds: You say that you actually committed atrocities in Vietnam. Why did you not object? You have the right to disobey an unlawful order."
I did disobey, before I obeyed.

"KERRY CALL DOR RUMSFIELD TO RESIGN"

I truly wonder if the man who is compelled to ask; 'do you know who I am?' - knows who he is?

I think not. . .

Exactly. Kerry just won 20% of the electorate - 20% he already had. At the same time he alienated at least 4% of the critical middle.

Kerry's mindset after his VN tour helped our enemy. His mindset as of now is on the same path as he was in the the 70's in dealing with Iraq.

Rumsfied can quickly and decisively counter with: "These abuses are nothing like the atrocities that John Kerry said he committed in Vietnam. And I suggest both series of incidents be fully investigated."

A picture of Rummy standing at the Pentagon podium with a big smile flipping the bird (photoshop). I have it as my screen saver.

Drudge pulled it

I think the Rumsfeld resignation call must be an old story or just something that Kerry only hinted at.

But and would be interesting if Kerry resigned. It's not like he's competent .

The truth is we need a bigger army. That is plainly obvious to me. The way we are rekying on the guard and contractors and the long deployments of the combat units is just not sustainable.

.....totally agree about the long deployments.....

.....but.....

.....not so sure about the "need" for a bigger army.....

.....i in, NO WAY, want to make lite of the losses we have sustained to date, but.....

.....compared to previous wars.....

.....the current formulas have worked pretty good.....

.....i do think they need to be tinkered with a bit.....

.....and i believe that they are doing that now.....

.....it is easy for me to say this because.....

.....I'm sittin here in the good-ole USA.....

.....fat, happy and safe because of the sacrifices of others.....

.....but i am not willing to second guess those with more knowledge.....

.....than myself, because the guilt i feel about.....

.....the sacrifices others have made on my-behalf.....

.....i'm gonna give Rummy the benefit of a doubt.....

Drudge pulled it

Carl Cameron , FOX, was asked that, and he said Kerry did NOT say that. He then said that Kerry has been "hinting" at that for some time.

My gosh, you turn on CNN and you'd think you were watching an enemy of America !! I just tuned in there, and Woffie was talking about Rumsfeld, and said the Pres. met with Rumsfeld today, and was LIVID ..because the President was not told of this until he saw it in the media !!

IS THIS TRUE ?? Wish I would have taken notes, but was browning meat for supper ! grrrr !

My point is that there are too few combat troops, too few boots to replace the old boots. Too much strain on the forces and their families. That's my 2 cents.

I think the whole prisoner abuse mess was started to distract attention from oil-for-food scandal anyway.

I wonder why we never did bring ourselves more in line with the rest of the services, but then again we do like to stand on tradition.

The whole Lieutenant (Junior Grade) is another weird one. It cracks me up to hear the new LTJG answer his/her phone spitting it all out in one breath.

Ol' Feckless, disintegrating right before Hatellary Rodhamster's eyes. McAwful probably sleeps with a permanent grin on his twisted face. And sinkEmperor is busily trying to make contact with the female service corp of his time in the white whore house. Democrats, what a bunch of maroons!
