Yes, I remember, Aunt B!
I still can't believe they've never been held accountable,
and have only gained more wealth and power.

OMG - I'm stunned. I had never heard about the Inspector Generals being replaced. That means Hillary has a plant in every department.

And .. I agree with you about your statement: "agenda included, perhaps depended upon, illegal activity".

And .. it now looks like Gorelick was a part of that planned agenda to change the laws to support their illegal activity. This is a bombshell!

Now that the "wall" is down, what are the chances the dots will be connected regarding all the Clinton malfeasance, which has never been prosecuted, and some real charges or indictments will result ..?? I'm not holding my breath, but when Bush is re-elected, that would be the opportune time to let it fly.

I do want to say here that Bush never went into office with the agenda of getting Clinton. In fact, I believe the President has kept it low key for 2 reasons, to protect the "presidency", and Bush didn't really want the media focused on Clinton instead of Bush's agenda for change in America - the Patriot Act, education, taxes, etc. But .. if the DOJ can connect the dots .. I'm wondering if Bush will allow it to go forward ..??

I don't know if the President intends to pursue all of this, but I certainly think that the mass hysteria and seething hatred displayed by the democrats may be an indication that THEY believe that he intends to.

.

In exchange for China Army $$$ flowing thru the CLINTONS' Oval Office and HILLARY's palms...

...the CLINTON White House tried to bully thru a turnover of our U.S. Long Beach Navy Base to the Communist Chinese Army Gang's COSCO Container Steamship Company.

...We Frontline Citizens in Southern California stopped them thru court-forced hearings and in Congress ...only to have Friend of HILLARY Long Beach Mayor BEVERLY O'NEILL announce that she was going to flatten our Navy Base any way without a tenant to use it.

The Enemy is now Within...
and always has been.

Memorize this:

"Recall, too, that during the time of Ms. Gorelick's 1995 memo, the issue causing the most tension between the Reno-Gorelick Justice Department and Director Freeh's FBI
was not counterterrorism but widely reported allegations of contributions to the Clinton-Gore campaign from foreign sources, involving the likes of John Huang and Charlie Trie." — The Wall Street Journal, Thursday, April 15, 2004

... I've got this nagging thought that there is something pretty critical that missing from this - something regarding an action taken by the 'Toon right near the start of his administration that seems to play into this stuff... but I can't get my mind around it right now...

1993 : (GORE : CLIPPER CHIP PROJECT FOR BUGGING TELECOMMUNICATIONS) Al Gore once assured the American public that an Orwellian government would not monitor us. Even today, Al Gore will not claim that he planned to enable the government to tap every phone in the United States if it so desired. Al Gore wanted to be Big Brother. Vice President Al Gore spearheaded a project called "Clipper" which was designed to monitor America. Gore's leadership in this scheme to allow the Feds to have easy access to bug American telephones is all too well documented for him to deny. - "Secret Documents: Hubbell Wanted Federal Access to Phones, " by Charles R. Smith, NewsMax , 8/29/02

Oh, look.. something Kerry would like, too:

1993 : (CLINTON RECEIVES LETTER FROM MOCHTAR RIADY URGING HIM TO NORMALIZE RELATIONS WITH VIETNAM)

MARCH 1993 : (GORE : CLIPPER CHIP PROJECT : AT&T TELEPHONE SECURITY DEVICE MEETING WITH BROWN, GORE, HUBBELL, RENO, PANETTA) One document released by the Justice Dept. is a March 1993 Justice Dept. memo from Stephen Colgate, Assistant Attorney General for Administration, to Webster Hubbell. In 1993, Webster Hubbell, the now convicted Rose office law partner of Hillary Clinton, served as the number two at the Justice Department. Both Gore and Janet Reno personally tasked Hubbell to run the Clipper project. Colgate's 1993 memo to Hubbell provides the details of the Gore plan. According to the Colgate memo, Vice President Al Gore chaired a meeting with Hubbell, Reno, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, and Leon Panetta in March 1993. The meeting was on the "AT&T Telephone Security Device".- "Secret Documents: Hubbell Wanted Federal Access to Phones, " by Charles R. Smith, NewsMax , 8/29/02

If you can, see if you can get a copy of Mark Riebling, Wedge: From Pearl Harbor to 9/11--How the Secret War between the FBI and CIA Has Endangered National Security to look at the new epilogue on 9/11 and compare with the topic of this thread. I skimmed it at it at the bookstore today and although Gorelick's name wasn't mentioned, there is definitely some relevant information. There's an article which summarizes some of the chapter here:

Mark Riebling, "Counter-Counterterrorism: The debacle pre-9/11.", reprinting National Review 11/25/02, reposted 4/13/04

[SNIP]

The rationale for this shift was provided by the FBI itself. In January 1992, the George H. W. Bush White House asked all security agencies to reassess their "post-Soviet" priorities. At that fateful moment, the chief of the National Security Threat List Unit, in the FBI's Intelligence Division, suggested a radical shift in focus: Instead of neutralizing organized secret warfare by states, the counterintelligence community should target criminal acts by loose networks of rogue actors. The collapse of the Soviet Union, it was foreseen, would provide a fertile operational field for the transnational criminal. The threat list was revised accordingly: Three hundred FBI agents were pulled from intelligence duties and pushed into international crime.

The FBI unit chief who revised the threat list, Robert Phillip Hanssen, would later confess to being a Soviet and Russian agent. But by then the new notions about national security were dogma. In May 1994, FBI director Louis J. Freeh told Congress that "criminal cartels are now richer and stronger than many nations." The New York Times echoed that judgment: "The threats [today] are less nations than gangs. The harm they can do the United States is . . . a law-enforcement problem."

This doctrine was refined by former Carter defense secretary Harold Brown, whom Clinton chose to head the Commission on the Roles and Capabilities of the United States Intelligence Community. Brown redefined international terrorism — traditionally considered a form of political warfare — as a form of "global crime."

I have no doubt that Gorelick wrote the "wall" memo at Hillary Clinton's direction (she was, after all, Hillary's "eyes and ears" at justice after Web went down). If it turns out that the Clintons' sneaky attempts to shield themselves from investigation led directly to the deficient national security conditions that allowed the terrorist murder of 3,000 American civilians on September 11, 2001, all hell will break loose.
