In his new book "Rewriting History," longtime aide to Bill and Hillary Clinton, Dick Morris reveals that he's guarded a secret about the Whitewater scandal for nearly a decade that could have led to Clinton's removal from office.
"What I was not talking about and have not for eight years is an incident that took place in 1996," he told Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" on Tuesday.
Morris alleged that Clinton improperly influenced U.S. District Court Judge Henry Woods to dismiss Whitewater charges against then-Arkansas Gov. Jim Guy Tucker, who had threatened to go public about Hillary's involvement in the fraudulent Castle Grande land deal.
After Clinton Attorney General Janet Reno ruled that Starr had jurisdiction over Tucker's involvement in Whitewater, Tucker was "furious," said Morris.
Using Morris as a go-between, Tucker sent a warning: "Tell the president that if that SOB wants to play the game this way, I know all about the IDC," the formal business name for Castle Grande.
When Morris passed on the threat to Clinton, "he turned white as a sheet."
"Clinton sat down, put his head in his hands and said, 'Oh my God, do you know what he means?"
Morris said he replied, "No, but I think you know what he means."
Later that night, Morris said Clinton told him, "I took care of that problem today." Three weeks later Judge Woods tossed out the Tucker indictment.
Though the case was later reinstated, Tucker never followed through on his threat, which, according to Morris, could have precipitated perjury and fraud charges against Hillary.

Problem is Clintonites really believe Hillary, and any contrary speech will be brushed off as "right wing conspiracy" to keep her out of White House.

Some of the former journalists at the old Arkansas Gazette covered for, did PR for, and built up Slick and Hillary but the Gazette is no longer and these media people are Gone With The Wind.
And staying quiet like most 60s libs do.
How honorable.
Everything for "the cause".
They will all die cold and alone with blood on their ink stained hands.
Was it worth it?
More in this post than is obvious Carl.

I'm not sure I agree with that. I think the Democrats and people around her know exactly what she is like, but they like her power and will support her anyway.
Respectfully agree to disagree, LOL!

I may be wrong, but I think I've read that Morris had a religious conversion of sorts.Maybe he's trying to atone for his involvement with the clinton syndicate.Could be. I think he knows much more. I'm sure he's watching his back, or he has some kind of protection, such as a tell all letter to be opened in case he has an untimely demise. It's difficult to imagine anyone knowing this much about the Clintons and not being afraid for their life. Despite his past, I believe every word he says.

I always wonder about these people, do they have a concience, do they worry about how their lies have hurt other people??
I couldn't live with myself if I did the things they do. Not pretending to be a saint but knowing the difference between right and wrong and trying to abide by it.

Somehow, I think that Morris is going to spill little bits of nothing about the Clintons as long as the republicans are in office. If (eeekk) a democrat goes in office, he will probably say he was forced to write the books and that the Clintons' were great to work for. All for the mighty dollars of selling books.

Dick Morris goes with the flow. I went on a Celebrity cruise and he was a lecturer and he was pro Bush at the moment. But, man, I remember the 90's when he was kissin Clinton a$$

Interesting tidbit noted in last nights interview on H&C.
Morris accused Colmes of regurgitating talking points that he receives from the Clintons. Colmes stated, "I don't use talking points." Morris said, "I know you use talking points, I used to give them to you." Colmes didn't deny it.
The 'fair and balanced' FOX should be asking Colmes some serious questions as to whether he would like to continue his H&C position as an 'objective' interviewer....

Recall that no republican senator visited the Ford Bldg evidence room, either. The right counts votes well. Had the GOP enough votes to convict the rapist, I doubt that they would have done so.
If we want to nail the clintons, we've got to flush out the compromised players on the right--let's start with Hatch (HIs illicit connection to and covering for Jamie Gorelick tells it all.)
