This really bothers me; why exactly did he do that? Did he really get a camera and go back and reinact what he did? Yes, he did. And the pictures are in his current campaign ads, where he is walking out of the "jungle" with his weapon in his right hand, wearing a helmet and flak jacket.

One of these commanders said that he was called by Kerry in '96 to assist him in a very tough reelection campaign because he was being accused of having committed war crimes. The commander chose to stand with Kerry at that time against the accusations. How amazing that Kerry asked the same people he accused of war crimes to come to his assistance when the accusations were being directed at him. And they helped him, after all he had said and done about them.

refutes any killing of cattle, raping of countryfolk, etc. says the OinC officer in charge was responsible of knowing where free fire zones were, etc.
Says Kerry used Swift Boat sailors to declare them war criminals, but now wants to use them to justify his claim of war hero status.
