Well, we finally got all this out! I've known this was coming, but thought it would be sooner. Of all the Vietnam Vets I know, I know NONE who support John F'ing Kerry.

If you take this story and combine it with those Winter Soldier pictures of Kerry, I think the two together will kill him. He can't even deny it without offending his peacenik base. This will do him heavy damage.

Recently watched a rerun of that Dick Cavett show on CSPAN. It brought back some ugly memories. In the end, John O'Neill revealed John Kerry for the liar and phony he has always been.

I'm amazed that Kerry thought that his military record would just stand on it's own. Unless he delusional, I would think he had to know that someone would show him to be the phoney that he is. Boy, do I want to see his Viet Nam service blow up in his smug face.

Kerry has used his Vietnam Service successfully ever since 1971 to further his political ambitions. As a 27 year old, he was put in the national spotlight appearing on TV and in front of Congress. He has used it to gain elective office, against opponents who never served and were intimidated by Kerry's military record. They never challenged him on his military service viewing it as something of a third rail.

For the first time, Kerry is being challenged by his real "Band of Brothers" in contrast to the few sycophantic groupies who Kerry uses as props. I expect Kerry to trot out Hagel, McCain, Cleland, and others to defend their fellow Vietnam vet. Chris Mathews will spew out the regular BS, probably reading from Kerry's citations, and have Brinkley appear to refute the charges, as Kerry's official biographer. The mainstream media will pass it off as a political attack by a few disgruntled Vietnam types who are jealous of Kerry's awards.

For what it's worth

The day after the Iowa caucus's a guy I work with (completly non-political) comes up and asks me when the democrats are going to nominate someone he can vote for.
The more people see of this guy the less they like him, (his politics aside) he comes across as someone who's just not a very nice person.

It will be very interesting to see how the partisan media covers this story.


This one is too easy. The media will seek out comments from the 4 of 23 who did not sign the letter, and publicize their comments.
