Likable? Let's work on "human" first... the basset hound thing really isn't working for him.

"Bush is actually liked in the Hispanic community. He comes across as someone who understands the community.

Ahh, but Kerry is liked in the French community.

Let's put it this way, who would you rather spend a day or dinner with?
I wouldn't care to spend three minutes with kerry, wheras I'd love to spend a few days with President Bush and could do so without ever touching on the subject of polotics.

John F*ckin' has all the charisma of a dead horse and the likeability of a used car salesman.

When a CBS News/New York Times poll asked 1,042 adults last week to rate the "likability" of the two candidates, Mr. Bush was rated as likable by 57 percent, as compared with Mr. Kerry's 48 percent.

When I went to school, 57% and 48% totaled 105%

Voters don't see Kerry as likable...

To be specific, they see him as "laughable".

As well as likeability, when the country is confronted with big problems, there's something called trust, (and gravitas).

Sometime after 9/11 Bush has acquired huge amounts of gravitas.

When you are talking about selecting a leader, barring an unforeseen circumstance, you have to like that leader.

Who invented this eternal truth, Oprah?

What I really "like" are Kerry's long, complicated, droning answers.

He's sooooo smart, and he knows it.
