A few days ago, even a Canadian minister was saying the UN needs to be replaced with a more effective body.

The UN is about as credible of a body as the 9-11 Commission is. Neither are more than scams designed to further individuals' political interests.

Who was it who accused Annan of propping up Saddam's regime and his rape rooms? Sounded like a hard hitting statement or letter.

Annan: We did hear about the atrocities and went to the Security Council and said "something seems to be going on here". Duh

I think we made a difference. Oh yeah - got more people killed and fattened his own wallet. I hate this guy.

I think that the terrorists learn propaganda from the likes of "the swimmer",he is so over the top on his rantings about "fallooge,etc. They listen to his anti-american crap,and then parrot that to al Jazeera. Kennedy is so partisan,but nuts, I think he could kill our soldiers if he could blame it on George W,and the republicans,he would not have to sink much lower than he already does.

I don't know who wrote the letter, but Kofi is attempting to avoid answering the questions about oil-for-food. If Russert were Chris Matthews, he would've snapped Kofi's head off by now.

In his book he doesn't name who is responsible for the leak to Novak

At the start of MPT, when Russert was intro-ing the line up, Russert said that the Bush administration leaked Wilson's wife's name as an agent.

I never heard that a culprit had been identified. Novak, last I heard, had not released a name for his source. Russert, by blatantly saying 'the Bush administration leaked' her name should be challenged to prove his allegation.

It took waaay too long to get that memorial; it's a disgrace that most of those who fought there never got to see the memorial before they died.
