The media has played right into their hands. And they need to stop! You are wrong. The media needs to be STOPPED. However, apparently almost no one has the will to organize and get the job done. We've all become cowards.

Allegra, I think they might be
obscuring his Haliburton ties on
purpose...several reports used the
Brown & Root name - apparently
his direct bosses - instead of any
reference to his indirect one,
which is Haliburton. Even Fox did!
Cover-up! Hamill+Haliburton would
RUIN their DNC Agenda.
Stay safe...

It's always a beautiful day when prayers are answered.
God bless Thomas Hamill and his family.
Prayers continue for our troops and the other hostages.

"And, we captured two of his captors!!!!"
Is this being reported now? I looked at the Reuters link, but this was not mentioned.

You're joking, right? Yes. But I expect ABC/CBS/NBC/CNBC/MSNBC etc to broach the possibility, and Kerry might even follow suit, just to try and slam Bush.
To: TomGuy
Mississippi farmer Hamill was a truck driver for Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root, which has a major logistics contract with the U.S. military as well as another deal rebuilding the country's shattered oil infrastructure. There is a lot of "yadda, yadda" among liberals about Halliburton and that they 'overcharge' the government for services, etc. I believe this incident shows just how dangerous these types of jobs really are, and that these people deserve to make more because they are in a 'war zone' and are getting a 'combat differential'.
To help people understand this, remind them that many employees get extra money for working weekends and holidays and no one bats an eye about it. Shouldn't these folks be paid even better for risking their freedom, and more importantly their LIVES for the work they do in support of our military?

We need to construct a memorial there. The Thomas Hamill Memorial Pile of Rubble. If the perps are stupid enough to stay put, a lifetime, all expenses paid vacation in southern Cuba seems in order.LOL!! Or a trip to HELL, do not pass go, do not collect 72 virgins!

They paid a few million huh? I don't think so... I was being sarcastic. But I wouldn't be surprised if the networks try to raise the possibility that it happened as a way of slamming Bush/Haliburton/Cheyney

And we captured two of his captors. That's great because I'm sure that "kidnappers share".
Don't be surprised if a few of the others get released on the thought like "Asad has a big mouth and I did rape his sister once. He'd love to get even. Let's get outa here. Just leave the captives".

Your whole post is a study in ignorance. You should be put on display, as a warning to all: know ye, of that which you speak. Poor effort, Liberal Me.

I was amazed at his demeanor and poise and thought it so typical of southern men we know. His eyes didn't show fear or panic - more like what the 'ell have I got myself into?
