Wonder if this will give him some new perspective on that whole "The security...the right...the people...shall not be infringed" thingy?

The same guy who stole Kevin Spacey's cell phone in London mugged Souter. How stupid is the audience that buys this garbage?

How long will it take before they send out an APB and set up roadblocks for a couple of white guys in a white van?

Dude -- you beat me to it by only moments. LOL!
I'm actually disappointed that it took until the #8 post on this thread for someone to mention that!

The attack occurred about 9 p.m. Friday, and Supreme Court police took Souter, 64, to a Washington hospital, court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said. He was examined and released about 1 a.m. Saturday. hmmmmmm....the attack occurred at 9 pm....he was not injured but he was released from the hospital 5 hours later......ohhhhh-kayyyy.....
The Supreme Court has its own police force?

"Souter has maintained his simple, bachelor lifestyle. He brings his own lunch, consisting of apples and yogurt, to work everyday and lives in an undecorated apartment. He still returns home to Weare during the summer breaks where he climbs the local mountains and visits his mother."

He [Souter] is not the first justice to be injured while exercising. Justice Stephen Breyer was thrown from his bicycle several years ago and suffered minor injuries.I especially wish Ruth Bader-Ginsberg would exercise more.

He was probably all shook up and weeping...they had to hold his hand while the nurse adminstered the alcohol and band-aid.
He will likely have a different view on crime now. And thats not a bad thing.
To: Seadog Bytes
I take it he was not attacked by rabid female Souter fans.
