On October 21, 2001, someone created an account with the screen name kcrack. He had a gift for profanity. Some examples are here, presented in white font so that only those who really want to see the profanity will:

This might be little bit hard, but I have to say what I feel, and it is just my feelings towards some things here. Ishmael ha, maybe somewhere down the road something got kind of f---k up, but when did Islam came to be? Who was before them? What tribe did Mohamed came from? What was his full life all about? Etc, etc... I am getting freaking tired of this Islam BS and bumble jumbo, don't preach to me about religion whose only goal is to conquer and destroy!

So, here is my free cents of what I think for your ideas and religion: F---k u all, all of you! your allah, your prophet your mecca and everything. You come to this country, or better, you live in this country, take welfare, spend time in jail on tax payers money, if you know what I am talking about, especially that asshole who just wanted to detonate a bomb, then u hijack airplanes in name of stupid prophet and allah or what ever his f----ing name is, and you have balls to tell me all this great ball shit about your religion, your religion is the only one that sends young kids to commit suicide and kill innocent, and I know in a little brain of muslims they are martyrs, martyrs my ass, I hope that those mothers and fathers and imams and others who so eagerly await their offspring to blew themselves out, born in deepest part of hell, for after all, the price of the sin is HELL!

So, enjoy your virgins and all this nonsense, and don't tell a person who saw September 11 in his own eyes about your f----ing religion. And believe you me on this; if there should be another attack on this country, you better pray that you are not here, for one there is one thing to practice a religion and other to use it to destroy people. Although kcrack was profane and had some rather unpleasant opinions, he could type in English relatively well. Again.

Many months later, a new user appeared by the name of matrix2225. One of the moderators made a comment on the Abuse Reporting boards that said "This poster is odd." That was after moving this thread to chat.

Jim informed us then, "Yes, he is odd. When he was here before he couldn't control his mouth. Cussed like a drunken sailer and didn't hold anything back. Thought I'd let him go for awhile to see how long it takes him to go back to the same old routine. In the meantime, he's sucking up like crazy, hoping not to get kicked out."

"I almost posted a copy of this to his first thread, and decided not too. Figured he'd blow-up soon enough.

Matrix2225, however, did not claim to be from East Berlin. Instead, he was polish, but living in the tri-state area. He also needed occasional prayer requests. Eventually, his account was suspended a few times for spamming the board. His account was finally removed from service for good January 16th of this year.

Before then, however, matrix2225 convinced another Freeper to host some images for him.

Over the past day or so, there has been some controversy over another poster BogdanPolska12, where some have suggested the poster has been making up stories of tragedies. So far, we have not had pointed to us any news reports that verifies this poster's tales. See the following threads for reference:

One thing aboug Bogdan. We knew he had been here before, at least once. He was also previously known as gdyniawitawa. gdyniawitawa did not claim to be from New Jersey, or to be Polish. gdyniawitawa claimed to be in London.

Here is something really interesting. Bogdan's profile on FR points to a webpage on Comcast. And on it, there is a photo album. If you look at the pictures in the photos that matrix2225 had up, and compare them to the pictures in Bogdan's album, you will find many of them are the same.

There may have been more photos common to both. I stopped checking when I found this many.

In addition, on Bogdan's album, there is an image with a label of Jan II Sobieski. This was the topic of a matrix2225 thread. [LM addition: in a bit of irony, that matrix2225 thread is the same one that prompted one of the staff here to comment "This poster is odd".]

I thought that instead of having people wonder what was going on, I would just share what we know. Beyond this, I have no idea.

I posted a warning in the canteen yesterday about one of the Scum at Indymedia.org telling people to write soldiers in Iraq and tell them to stop killing Iraqi's in this "unjust war". His suggestion was to be nice to them in the first letter then hit them with noth barrels in the next letter. Wonder if this could be part of that? What made me think of it was his talking about sending stuff to the troops.

That thread was an expression of kindness and caring by beautiful souls on this forum. The person who lied should be ashamed. God will put our prayers to use as He sees fit. They will not be wasted. These episodes will not change my future behavior one bit.

"Magda" must be a common first and last Polish name. Did you know that bogdan's Brother-in-Law is named Jaroslaw Rypinski?

In Polish, Jaroslaw= capital, and Rypinski= county.

IOW, he's named after a capital and a county in Poland.

2nd I am relieved to know that this "tragedy" did not take place.

Adopt a Soldier - Stop the War

Write a letter to a soldier to let him/her know what people really think of this war. Send a photo of a dead Iraqi civilian. Send a photo or message about an anti-war protest.
I found this organization Soldiers Angels maybe there are others. Outreach to soldiers is the best way to persuade them to stop killing civilians. Maybe they will even begin fragging (killing their officers) like in Vietnam. It's worth a try. At least send your newly adopted soldier some real news instead of the Stars and Stripes propaganda they hear 24/7.

Here's a suggestion: Make nice the first time you contact your soldier. Then send anti-war information or whatever. Once you have the address/name and build a relationship your mail will get through. The first time it may not if it's clearly anti-war that's why it might work best to make nice at first.

Considering that I'm supposed to be a writer, I didn't state that very well. LOL (You ever read what Anne Lamott calls "first drafts" in her book Bird by Bird? Unfortunately, most posts here qualify as how she describes first drafts. Or, at least mine do.)

What I meant was that despite the risks today in revealing one's true identity online, I still do so. yada yada yada ;)

As for anyone I meet here, I'm going to continue to assume I'm talking to a "real" and sincere person; barring that, it's probably better to be chatting with a bot than with a troll.

For all the bitching and moaning about bannings and thread pullings and Lord knows what else, this shows that JR goes the extra mile with folks. It also shows what genuinely nice folks freepers generally are, how willing to pitch in, pray for, hurt for others. And I don't see that changing because of cheap tricks.
