I'm thankful for your good news and pray for a speedy recovery. Nick, we are very thankful for your service to our country. My daily prayers always include protection of and thanks for all those who serve in our military.

We thank you for your warmth and prayers. I read the web site with all the wonderful people that have thought of us. We are truly blessed. Nick had surgery a week ago to remove shrapnel from the bottom of his surviving eye, that was narrowly missed.I read him all the comments on this site before he went to sleep, he went to sleep a very happy man with a smile on his face.

I have been reading Free Republic for awhile but never have really felt the urge to post. I have always felt that our fantastic fighting men and women are the best this country has to offer and your post just made me want to let you know how I feel about them.
