During the UN Committee hearings investigating the "Oil For Food Program" frauds, democrats rushed to defend Kofi Anan. From CA Democrat Representative Tom Lantos (D) "At a time when we are moving towards placing enormous responsibilities following the handover on June 30th upon the United Nations and the Secretary General, to imply dishonesty on his part is so contrary to our national interest that it simply boggles the mind."
Kofi Anan denied any wrong-doing saying "The US and the British had planes in the air. We were not there. Why is all this being dumped on the UN?"

The above was from FOX News Special Report.
What boggles the mind is that democrats don't see the hypocrisy.

My apologies for all the garbage connected to the URL. Something is very wrong with my Sun.
At any rate, the quotes come directly from FOX News "Special Report" which can be seen again this evening.

What boggles the mind is that democrats don't see the hypocrisy. If it wasn't for double-standards, DemocRATS would have no standards at all.

Your link is kinda garbled, I think.

The hypocrisy in such a statement is so bald-faced as to boggle the mind. Yet some people actually believe it.

Sorry about that. Something is wrong with my Sun. Has been for a while. If I attempt to edit a post, it sames some kind of screwy info but I can't see it and it carries it on. At any rate, the quotes are from Brit Humes' "Special Report". It will run again.

Just remember---it doesn't matter what the hard core RATS think. They aren't going to vote for Bush no matter what he does. The key to victory is (1) be sure our base turns out and (2)get more independents than Kerry does.
Defending Kofi based on the "we're at war" excuse while castigating Bush at the same time will *not* play well with the independents. And it will help fire up our base too.

What boggles the mind is that democrats don't see the hypocrisy.OH C'MON this lunacy needs to stop Democrats know what they are doing and who they defend i can't beleive after all these years that people want to so called " MAKE DEMS UNDERSTAND " this or that!
I catch Sean Hannity and Rush saying it all the time ! quotes like " These people don't understand " or " They cannot fathom what they are doing " when they know exactly what they do and have course to do it Democrats defend ANYTHING corrupt they have since i've been alive ive not known one in high office for 44 years of my existance !
Time to start calling a thug a thug and stop pandering into their hands by saying they " DON'T Understand ".

"The US and the British had planes in the air. We were not there. Why is all this being dumped on the UN?" Because pilots aren't auditors, slimebucket. Kofi's Klowns and the Axis of Weasels had the oversight responsibility and looked the other way because you all were on the take.

""At a time when we are moving towards placing enormous responsibilities following the handover on June 30th upon the United Nations and the Secretary General, to imply dishonesty on his part is so contrary to our national interest that it simply boggles the mind."
No...what is mind-boggling is that people like Kerry want to turn over "all" operations to this organization when you are well aware of the enormous fraud and graft they may be involved with. The fact that Democrats don't even want to get to the truth is what truly boggles the mind. Can there be any doubt about who the enemies of America are?
