Curves for Women has been the ONLY exercise program I've been able to stick to. A lot of the women I work with are also members, and we all love it.
It's not geared to the young, Barbie-doll types, it's more for regular women. Curves members are mostly women in their thirties and up, all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Glad to see that Mr. Heavin is a good guy - I'd hate to have to give up Curves.

He knows its bad business to abort your future customers, a lesson the teachers union never learned.

I know you use Curves, so I thought you would like to know this!

There was a thread on another website (liberal),that really thought this was funny.
Curves is for working class folks and is located in strip malls, said the poster.
He/She sounded like the classic limousine liberal,a real snob!!!!

Getting a Curves franchise might not be a bad business move, as the house I used to live next to had a woman who had started some.....a constant stream of additions, building pools, buying Jaguars the last few years....

One just opened up in my neighborhood. I figured he had to be a prolifer since I noticed a lot of churchladies rave so much about it *LOL*

Women who go through pregnancy often need to work off a few pounds after child birth...
I'm not questioning his sincerity...just point out the consistency of his decision.

Out of curiosity, what's the website you used for that donation history search?

My wife has been going for about a year, loves it. Several of the girls at work have joined her and like it as well.
Glad to find out that the owner has his head on straight.

The reason that so many churchladies go is because the head of the corporation is a Christian. No club is allowed to be open on a Sunday either.
There was a post on another site I frequent and they were moaning that the only music played was contemporary Christian. "It's only a half hour" is what I was told when I asked that my club lay off the rap junk and put in some good old country music.

We were on vacation last week, and my sister-in-law and I went to a Curves in beautiful Anacortes, Washington.
They had a little notice posted regarding the music that is played - that if anyone was uncomfortable with the lyrics and the content, to please notify the manager, and that it would be changed.
I have been surprised, but not offended, that at my local Curves, some of the music CD's have contained some overtly religious lyrics.
