Major Bob on FoxNews. He says we are losing the PR war by dragging out the standoff in Fallujah.

If this is a cease-fire, I shudder to imagine what real fighting would be like.

If I saw that thing open up, I'd surrender in a heartbeat - even if I was on its side!

He is also talking about the Arab networks and how we should have had our own reporters in there reporting what we were doing there. Arab TV is showing our guys knocking down doors and bodies laying in the street and these people think we are killing innocents!

I guess that the President has "let slip the DOGS OF WAR"! He had a belly full of broken promises of the rag heads, so he cried havoc!

I think our guys know their stuff. I also don't think much of the so called PR campaign. If anyone wants to help the pr campaign take out Al Jazeera. I don't think the Kurds or the Shiites care what happens in Fallujah.

It is really not much wonder that the terrorist do not believe us. American soldiers are ruthless in battle. Believe it.

Ollie North on Hannity radio program:
He is at airbase near Fallujah. Says 'insurgents' tried to move on one of the military groups surrounding Fallujah. Military responded. A few military got superficial wounds, but no KIA so far.

To draw more of them insurgents in .. and to cause them to stockpile their weapons so we could blow them up ..??
Brilliant!
But what I loved was the fact that just a few hours before going in .. we put out leaflets and broadcast warnings for civilians to leave the area.

Bump.
Still those retired generals on CNN seem to write attack plans for the terrorists as they give their analysis.

Those retired generals can say anything they want...and the more their "plans of attack" differ, the better.
I remember the Gulf War and Swartzgoff, with pointer in hand, tell the world what we were going to do. It's tough to see his fingers crossed in the pictures though.

I pretty much agree with Peters, but I just don't think this could have ever been avoided. It was either now or later. And .. I'm not sure that had we declared martial law even at the beginning that this eventual standoff would not have happened.
I realize Ralph Peters is very knowledgeable about these things, but for that one issue, I'm not sure I agree.

Ollie North on Hannity radio program: I was really impressed when Ollie said something to the effect that the most accurate weapons system is a Marine sniper, and that every time an enemy head pops up a sniper with a night-vision scope takes it off...
He also said that some high-muckity-mucks were complaining that the killing was too indiscriminate.... and the commander replied "as compared to bombinng the city?" (or something to that effect)
Col. North's description of the effectivness of the AC-130 gunships to accutately fire within several hundred feet ahead or behind our troops with deadly accuracy to the enemy only really makes me proud of those gunship operators...
Both those in the gunships and those on the ground really earn their meager pay [we don't pay them enough to do that job] and in my opinion, this nation is really unworthy of their service and sacrifice for us. They deserve better from this nation and really deserve our continued prayers for their safety and success.
I am encouraged that this is what our Lord has to say about our brave and the best of our best:
Isaiah 54: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD."
Isaiah 59: "So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him."

I don't know if you guys are keeping tabs of these numbers, but we are killing these "insurgents" at 60:1 ratios now. There were 40+ killed the other day (to one Marine dead and a second who died of earlier wounds) and 67 dead today, with no apparent U.S. casualties.
