Will this $hithead pleas explain to us dumb freepers what a DNS attack is? I've worked on websites for about 5 years now and I have never heard of a DNS attack.
Does he mean someone attacked his DOMIAN NAME SERVER? or someone tried to alter his DNS listing?

if you go to the link somewhere in this thread (including the exact minute of the broadcast) you can see that Walsh actually says "denial of service"
'DNS' was my brain fart--i was thinking 'DoS' but it was after 3a.m. my time and i'd been working on new sites of my own a lot lately and freudian slipped

Mark Walsh shouldn't be worrying about us. His biggest worry should be those checks of his bouncing around Chicago and LA like little red rubber balls.

Computer sabotage is a federal crime now. Is Mark Walsh going to file a charge with the authorities (knowing that making a false claim is itself a crime) or is he just lying about the DOS attack from FR?

That's funny. I don't remember any such thing in Rush's daily marching orders to us mind-numbed robots.

DoS would be Denial of Service - sending so many phony requests that the server is swamped. He could be right....
If 3 or 4 of us clicked on their site on the same day, they likely were not prepared for that many visitors.....
LOL bump!

Heh, when all you can afford is a dialup server maybe if you get your 5 listeners all excited it DOES crash them :-)
Or they just neglected to pay the phone bill...

I remember once Rush mentioned the DU site, and it almost immediately went down because they couldn't handle the traffic.
When it came back up, the paranoids were complaining that Rush's listeners had hacked them. I thought, typical liberals, they don't know how to do something right, and when it falls apart, it's everyone elses fault.
To: dwills
Complete losers looking to scapegoat someone for the fact
that there is nothing of America in Air America...it was REJECTED by Americans...
America hates liberals....they have to spend billions in propagandizing children to amass
any kind of following among those who work, have familes, and own homes...

Ignore Mark Walsh, he's just trying to get someone, anyone, to notice that Poluted Air America exists.

Go ahead and sue... You idiot! Jim will never have to run a fundraiser again... He'll own you!Given that AA has bounced a number of checks, owning them yould probably increase the need for fundraisers... Not a good tradeoff imnsho...
