Democrats have questioned whether Bush fulfilled his obligations to the National Guard in spite of White House claims that he completed his duty satisfactorily. Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard in 1968 and transferred to the Alabama Guard in 1972 while working on a political campaign. How often Bush reported for duty in Alabama is unclear.Didn't they just do about 8 weeks of nightly stories? I seem to remember the issue was solved. Bush did.
Kerry has never said he pretended to throw away his medals. For years, he has said that he threw his ribbons over a fence at the Capitol, not his three Purple Hearts, Bronze Star and Silver Star. He also has said that after the protest he threw the medals of two other veterans.
Yeah, He said he had thrown his medals. And for years was happy to let the press believe it. He only came clean when people saw the medals in his office.

Me thinks Kerry is trying to divert attention away from his "medal throw."

The funny thing about this is that they really believe this can work. The Democrats actually think this is a good idea.

If George Bush wants to ask me questions about that through his surrogates, he owes America an explanation about whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. Prove it."
Bush has proven it!!! Who can "prove" Bush didn't show up?
However, Everybody can prove Kerry can't keep his lies straight!

Kerry is trying to live by "the best defense is a good offense". He can't defend his own actions, so tries to attack Bush, again...

I guess Kerry can't be bothered to read the several hundred pages of documentation President Bush provided. I'm sure he hired someone to read it for him. Trouble is, they can't be bothered either.
Too busy dragging around all that baggage, tying up all those loose ends, putting out those endless little fires that keep popping up...
Where's Kerry's girlfriend, anyway...?

Kerry recently said that he wouldn't bring up the Presidents ANG service and had told his surrogates not to bring it up.
His credibility is zero.

he owes America an explanation about whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. Prove it. That's what we ought to have," Kerry had stated that he would NOT use service as an issue in the campaign .... flip-flop again.
Then Kerry spokes hole Mc Auliff basically stated that Guardists and persons with educational deferments were not qualified to talk on military issues.
I guess the DNC geniuses are giving up rhos voting blocks too.

We are supposed to listen to kerry's(not capitolised on purpose) demands about anyones military service when pictures of him in the early seventies after his Viet Nam service indicate his disdain for the military by the improper wear of his uniform(awards placed on utility uniforms and improper hair length while in uniform)?
After all he(kerry) said and done after he returned from service including the improper uniform wear, are we supposed to really trust him at all about his prospects as a potential Commander in Chief?
After kerry's actions, post service, why should we even take his questions about anyones service seriously?

This is how you got into this medal mess in the first place!
To: Lance Romance
"The U.S. Navy (news - web sites) pamphlet calls them medals," he said. I find this hard to believe. The Military calls them awards, and is pretty specific on what is a medal and what is a ribbon.
