The CNSNews.com sources question whether the guidelines purportedly put in place by Gorelick in 1995 for Justice Department investigations were actually intended to shield President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and top Democratic campaign fundraisers from the subsequent congressional investigations of the illegal fundraising activities. Rings all too true, but the public at large will never hear this one.

Jamie Gorelick will never testify to the commission. She is on the commission for one reason only - to protect Clinton's rear.

And now the Bush administration won't go after him either.

I saw on some other thread that she's writing the draft of the committee report. THAT ought to give it a lot of credibility! I hope it's true, really.

It has totally amazed me why so many of our elected officials have lied to protect this sleeze ball. Seems as though treason is not enough anymore!

I don't see how there will be any credibility to the report if she writes it. Even if she stays on the committee. I'm sure the commission will be keeping a low profile for awhile.

The fundraising investigation involved the Clinton campaign's alleged acceptance of donations from operatives working for the People's Republic of China (PRC) as well as other foreign sources. But the Gorelick memo of 1995 prevented intelligence collected by U.S. agents overseas from being used in domestic criminal investigationsOkay. NOW we are connecting the dots.
This is so obvious that I can't believe it didn't come up sooner. This is the missing piece - - the answer to the question of WHY Gorelick erected "the wall", and ended up aiding and abetting in the terrorist murder of 3,000 Americans.
It had nothing to do with protecting "civil liberties", etc.
Clinton, Gorelick, et al, needed to obstruct the investigations into Clinton foreign fundraising and money-laundering. Well, duh - - it was right there in front of our faces the whole time. No wonder it was so important for the Democrats to get Gorelick on the 9-11 commission.

To all those liberal scumbags who said "so what?" when confronted with Clinton's crimes this is the
smoking gun. As long as Xlinton gave handouts they would put up with his crimes . But the cover-up
also covered up the activities of the terrorists who hit us on 911 and no doubt in liberal New York
City allot of those who perished in those towers were some of the one's who said "so what? "
Cosmic justice for them but a lesson and a warning to the rest of us about the consequences of letting
a corrupt leader hold power

I don't know the song that well, but I bet the song "Jamies Got a Gun" could be parodied as "Jamies Gotta Go."

I'm still kinda new here, and trying to catch up on the news that's missing from the news. This is news to me, and my head is reeling from it. I don't want to believe it. You go through life with certain realities, and those realities do not include anything like what I just read. I'm going to have to read it again, because I don't believe it could have said what I think it said. Here are some snippets that jumped out at me.
The fundraising investigation involved the Clinton campaign's alleged acceptance of donations from operatives working for the People's Republic of China (PRC) as well as other foreign sources. But the Gorelick memo of 1995 prevented intelligence collected by U.S. agents overseas from being used in domestic criminal investigations.
Does that say what I think it says? No way!
Another DoD official, who requested anonymity, explained in an interview with CNSNews.com that, "the PLA (People's Liberation Army) used front companies to buy U.S. defense high technology and influence in the U.S. government." In many cases, the source said, "the operatives were dealing directly with the White House."
What?!
Leitner said one of the most important investigations hindered by the Gorelick memo involved a Chinese state-owned corporation's activities after it had purchased a McDonnell Douglass high-tech machine tools factory in Columbus, Ohio.
The factory, known as Plant 85, had previously been used to manufacture the bodies of U.S. Air Force C-17 strategic transport planes and MX intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Leitner told CNSNews.com that he informed the federal prosecutor in the case that the CATIC license was approved over his objections because of "pressure from Vice President Gore." That testimony, however, was never heard in court.
The vice president of the United States commits treason, and it isn't the most prominent talk on every news program? Am I misinterpreting this?

Welcome to FR. Old-timers knew and talked about this back in 1996. Yes, the Clintons really are that scummy. That is why so many Freepers really do detest them. They sold out our country so that Bill could get elected and re-elected. They really are traitors.

Clinton, Gorelick, et al, needed to obstruct the investigations into Clinton foreign fundraising and money-laundering. Close. You see the investigations hadn't begun yet as they were post election. It was my assertion a few weeks back that the wall was erected in order to smooth the way in order to solicit the funds. That is to prevent an investigation from occuring in the first place. That means I think the whole foreign donations thing was premeditated on the part of the Clinton/McAuliffe machine. Of course we here already know there wasn't an unending series of accidents and WHOOPSIES. This was Clinton policy.

Hmmm...may well be the 911 families do have someone to sue...seriously-this is treasonous conduct

Its the overwhelming Clinton corruption, treason , murder, war crimes, cover-ups, bribes etc., that gave birth to this very site. As a loyal American Jim Robinson could no longer stand by and watch the see no evil hear no evil speak no evil networks give the utterly evil Clinton regime a free pass. He started this website so that his fellow Americans could get the truth on the Clintons and their partners in lies and crime , the RAT party and its unofficial allies. They did not take kindly to Jim's spotlight and for Jim's courage and tenacity I thank him.
