Man Tested For SARS In Everett

EVERETT, Wash. -- A man is being kept in isolation and tested for possible SARS disease at Providence Everett Medical Center in Everett.
Health officer Doctor M. Ward Hinds says it's a precaution and the public has no need for alarm.
The man was hospitalized two days ago with a respiratory illness. he had been traveling in China. Tests have been sent to the state Health Department to rule out the contagious disease, known as severe acute respiratory syndrome.
