"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

That's the "Onion Snow"! You will have a bumper crop of wild onion sprouting up in your lawn next week ;) I actually saw some indication of onions in the grass last weekend. I hope I don't get a bumper crop. The snow accumulated to about 1 1/2 inches last night. We're up to 39 degrees now...on the way to 50 today. The forecast calls for 60's Friday, 70's on the weekend and 80's Monday.

Suspicious divers, indeed. Who goes to all that trouble to deliver nothing? Noone, imo. Smugglers indeed and more, most likely. Al Quada divers again, imo. They were going to alot of trouble to use that route!

You are so very welcome. When I'm up to it, I'll dig around some more.

>> what a way to divert attention away from where a terror strike is really being planned <<
I've been thinking the same thing Kyla. This has me very worried. I can't be any more prepared than I already am so all I can do is stay alert and pray.

One more thing. That container that exploded on the dock is all the confirmation I need that this threat was for real.

MD, I don't know what to think. I thought it interesting about the poisonious FALCON. Folks on here speculated that might be what it meant when they mentioned the Jihad Falcon. Maybe they'd use those birds as a vector for something nasty.
I dunno, just found it interesting and wanted to see what you all thought.

Yes, report it! Then, report back to us and tell us what they (the authorities) said.

I can't get much of anywhere on this link but that might be because the security on my computer is very high. This link thought, does imply through the categories listed, that various missiles do have boxes of various sorts with them.

the men most likely were smugglers. Smugglers w/out drugs. Two illegal non-US citizens. And they are deemed "smugglers! BWAHGAHAHAHAHAHAH!
More PC stuff to keep everyone from getting angry at the RINO policy of open borders. We KNOW better.

RE: Shoulder missiles
I am just under the 3 mi final approach for DFW 36L and 36R. Lots of woods and open area around here. I am VERY vigilant. There is a large industrial park across the hwy and so lots of trucks from semis to others..if I see one parked or see any parked vehicles in the fields around here, I always call the police. Now what THEY do about it is another story. I wouldn't doubt it if jihadis are living in the apartments around here...perfect shot from the balcony. Pretty scary....

US PROBES FOR AL QAEDA TIE TO HUB
Possible link of stowaways, plot revealed
By Charlie Savage and Bryan Bender, Globe Staff | April 29, 2004
WASHINGTON -- The Department of Homeland Security is investigating whether Islamic extremists infiltrated the nation by stowing away on Algerian liquefied natural gas tankers that docked in the Port of Boston and has concluded several stowaways may have had links to indicted Al Qaeda terrorists, officials disclosed yesterday.

There sure was a lot of news on the western front last night. I didn't even hear about the Mall threat til I just checked in now. Anything new on the threat?
To: freeperfromnj; Shermy
There's more to this story. In 1999 there were reports of infiltrators busted coming in from Canada. A small item and no followup. Target: Unknown, but NYC or Boston.
Part of the millenium LAX/Seattle Plot.
This algerian stowaways were denied by the govt and said to be mere illegals.
But after 911, coming home late from Boston, there were major roadblocks and detours if you went by the LNG farm area and there was an LNG tanker due. Reported locally.
And then there wer those shortlived reports of stowaways escaping from other ships too.
To: freeperfromnj
Just read the latest. "We have no further info than has been released and no further info will be released." Per AP 102PM. We know now all we'll ever know unless something happens.

RE: WWII Memorial Dedication in DC
The dedication next month is expected to draw a big crowd. Some 117,000 free tickets were snapped up in a matter of weeks, and there's a waiting list with 50,000 names on it.
President Bush (news - web sites) and all the living former presidents have been invited to the event.
The Smithsonian Institution (news - web sites) is planning four days of festivities on the National Mall to coincide with the May 29 dedication ceremony.
"We certainly think this could be the largest gathering of World War II veterans in one place since war ended in 1945," said Jim Deutsch, program curator for the National World War II Reunion.
I have only one thing to say.
~oh crap~ [this is NOT good folks]
