Executive orders are past my knowledge, but I think that President Bush could do so, BUT, the new President does not do so as a rule.........or as I think I understand it.

Man treated for flesh-eating disease

A Kentuckiana man was happy to be home from the hospital Tuesday night after being treated for a rare disease.

Bud Clark, 75, spent the past 81 days hospitalized as he battled flesh-eating bacteria.

Clark said it hit him back in February, and felt like the flu.

Doctors aren't sure how he got the disease.

Doctors at Baptist East Hospital used a steady stream of antibiotics and performed more than a half dozen surgeries to cut away Clark’s diseased tissue to save his life.

Clark said he just felt lucky to be alive.
