FNC had Joe Lieberman on discussing this. What fun to watch Ole Joe stutter and admit he's having difficulty following the story.

What fun to watch Ole Joe stutter and admit he's having difficulty following the story. I caught that too and found it very revealing. Lieberman was effectively saying that he was having trouble keeping up with all Kerry's lies!

Charlie Gibson nailed the salient point when he said:
Gibson:
Senator...is it not fair to draw the inference that, when trying appeal to the anti-war people in 1971 you said--- as in that interview---"it was the medals".
And then in 1984---when the people who supported the war were giving you political problems---you then said "No, I didn't throw the medals away". 13 years later.
Kerry's trying to muddy the water by saying this is about whether he said "medals or ribbons". As quoted above, Charlie nailed the point. If even a lib like Charlie gets it, this isn't going away.

Kerry could tangle up the simplest sentence. No wonder Joe L. was confused.
