The manager is acting like an idiot.
Two people simply could not clean out a buffet for the whole night.
There was a middle ground here and Mr. Beef missed it, greatly to the detriment of his business.
His restaurant should be named Overreactions R Us.

This is funny, its kind of like the Simpsons episode where Homer was kicked out of a all you can eat restaraunt.

The manager is acting like an idiot. And doesn't the inclusion of the words "Chuck" and "Rama" in the restaurant's name downright guarantee a copious supply of MEAT? Come ON!

The customer is not always right, but most businesses promote the perception of the opposite being true. To those who "game" the system, companies often tell them to get lost. My college roommate "gamed" Sears out of three sets of workboots over 12 months, because the soles melted in contact with gasoline in the service station where he worked. The store manager told him to get lost eventually, and seek help from a podiatrist, because he probably walks funny.

I agree completely. Everyday, as a business owner, I have to do things I don't like. I have to serve people I don't like, and all with a smile on my face. We are better off for it, word gets around quick and you have more business. We try to avoid any negative feelings altogether, and work to patch them up quickly if they exist. It's the only way to do business.

But if they eat $10 worth of roast beef on $8.99 tickets, he is losing money. He does have a right to prevent that (although he should have let them finish eating before barring them from returning).
