I am glad to see the Republicans finally starting to speak up.
McDermott said: "For anybody to come out here and attack his (Kerry's) war record, you have to have pretty good credentials."
Representative Johnson seems to have impeccable credentials after having served as a Prisoner in Viet Nam. Someone should tell McDermott that President Bush didnt attack Kerry some of his fellow Senators did. Maybe he was asleep at the time and woke up in the middle.

One by one, several Republicans, many of them Vietnam veterans, stood and challenged Kerry's patriotism. They did so in marking the 33rd anniversary of Kerry's testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee as a leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War.
I know that they did this on the Anniversary of the Hearings but I sure wish they'd lay low for a while and at least let Kerry get the nomination... They may have him so damaged that by convention time he'll be run off the stage and someone else will be nonimated...

Hanoi Kerry at his "moment of glory."
What a piece of ******
The media WILL NOT mention this book.
I will!
The cover is a insult to Iwo Jima vets,
then it gets worse towards Viet Nam vets.
I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I served on a Destroyer which supplied PBR's
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.
I VOW I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected.
I owe it to those who gave their all.

McDermott said: "For anybody to come out here and attack his (Kerry's) war record, you have to have pretty good credentials." Randy "Duke" Cunningham has very "good credentials", so shut up "Baghdad Jim"!
In 1966, at the age of 25, Cunningham joined the U.S. Navy and became one of the most highly decorated pilots in the Vietnam War. As the first fighter ace of the war, Cunningham was nominated for the Medal of Honor, received the Navy Cross, two Silver Stars, fifteen Air Medals, the Purple Heart, and several other decorations.
Duke's experience in Vietnam and his background as an educator prepared him well to train fighter pilots at the Navy Fighter Weapons School -- the famed "Top Gun" program at Miramar Naval Air Station. As Commanding Officer of the elite Navy Adversary Squadron, Cunningham flew Russian tactics and formations against America's best combat fighter pilots. Many of his real-life experiences as a Navy aviator and fighter pilot instructor were depicted in the popular movie "Top Gun."

If the only leadership credentials Kerry has in his resume is a few months in Nam. as a junior grade officer, he is far from qualified for promotion to Commander-in-Chief, 33 years of professional gigolo and playboy experience later.

I'm glad to see some of Kerry's anti-Viet Nam feelings being brought up. My husband served over there and had rotten tomatoes and onions thrown on him when he came off of the plane. He was called a "baby killer" and a "murderer" for just going there and doing his job so that he could get his tour over with. He stayed in the army after Viet Nam and retired with 22 years and some odd months. He had also been in the other unpopular war, the Korean War. He died two weeks ago. He is my hero.
