OH MY GOSH....I suffered more giving birth to my children and recovering. I had an
episiotomy...that's far worse than anything John Kerry experienced.
CAN I HAVE MY PURPLE HEART NOW, PLEASE????

(I'll only vote for a candidate who is comforable with JEANS, a COWBOY HAT and a RIFLE!)

How does a doctor treat someone for 18 years and not see their thigh? When a doctor said he did not see the wound, he means he did not see a bleeding gapping gash in Kerry's leg.
One cannot always tell the seriousness of the original wound when looking at a 40 year old scar.
A scar comes from a wound and once a wound is healed it is no longer a wound, it is a scar.

As any old sailor knows, chiefs and officers get non specific urethritis from drinking too much coffee. It happened all the time. Are there any old corpsmen out there that could help us out?

The metal detectors aren't sensitive enough to be set of by a piece of metal the size of a grain of sand.

Let me guess, even though he sets off every airport metal detector, he gets frisked every time. Right?Nah, they let him go after he says "Don't you know who I am?"

I agree with andrew1957 I want to see the X-Ray first. With that said - trust but verify in mind - is this a conservative website or a lefty one? Are we making fun of a soldier's service? Not post service record - but during his service? Is not the Republican party the party of duty and honor? Should we not uphold that creed even of the Democrats do not? Salute Kerry's war record and pick apart his Senatorial record. This is beneath us.

The doctor also found Kerry's head firmly embedded in his rectum.

And Doyle said Kerry's third Purple Heart came from a dangerous situation on March 13, 1969. He was treated with a tetanus shot, topical dressing and an ace bandage and advised to apply warm soaks to his right forearm.
His first two wounds did not require a tetanus shot??

Kerry was in Vietnam? Shrapnel bump...
I thought the 'Shrapnel' (pronounced shrap-NELL) was a snowboard maneuver in which the snowboarder slices through a mogul after a full-turn...

"John Kerry has a piece of shrapnel in his left thigh from an injury he suffered in the Vietnam War, his doctor said Friday during a review of 36 pages of the Democratic presidential candidate's military medical records."
That's it, then! I'm chaging my vote to Kerry! ;-`

Not really, as I'm not a doctor -- but the one with whom I spoke (and he's a fairly hardcore conservative who can't stand Kerry) said that scenario is a definite possibility.

Gerald Doyle, said he could not characterize the severity of the wounds since he didn't see them, but he noted that Kerry was in danger of serious injury several times.Jeez, this is the strongest statement his doctor could come up with?

Kerry spokesman Michael Meehan interrupted Doyle to ask that he only comment on Kerry's medical records in the military, noting that the doctor had already issued a letter outlining Kerry's health during the 18 years that he has treated the senator I smell fear from the Kerry Camp
