National Security Advisor to be met by protesters at MSU commencement

EAST LANSING - Activists angry with President Bush and the war in Iraq are mobilizing protests for MSU's May 7 commencement headlined by National Security Advisor Condolezza Rice.

Groups, looking to draw outspoken crowds, plan to send mass e-mails, pass out flyers and hold meetings in the next two weeks to encourage people to turn out.

Rice has been at the center of controversy this spring, leading up to her testimony before a national panel investigating the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Among those involved in organizing protests: Campus organizations, a peace group that drew more than 500 people to Lansing for an anti-war rally last year and members of a radical activist group known for carrying out acts of civil disobedience.

You shouldve seen the cartoon in MSU student paper yesterday. It showed a US soldier pointing a gun at an Iraqi child and saying drop the cupcake as the kid offered it to the soldier. I almost posted it here but thought that was just what the pig who drew it wanted. He wanted the attention, typical of a journalist!!

I am assuming for now that nate allen is the author of the cartoon in question. If this is not so, then my screed is aimed squarly at whoever is the author to wit:

...and what law or rule, allows mr. nate allen to attempt to deceive the students at MSU or anyone else reading the student paper, without suffering the dire consequences of his tastless and deceptive actions? I stand firmly on ground that says it isn't the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.

In fact mr allen is a terrorist, nay, worse than a terrorist because he is the inciter, the igniter, the divider, for a bomb he wants to explode. Those who chose to believe his cupcake crap, are willing followers of a direction that will, if allowed to fester, destroy this nation.

Our way of life has been preserved and paid for over hundreds of years by patriots, many of whom gave their lives in sacrifice for the liberty and freedom that God and the founding fathers together brought to fruition after many centuries of darkness and bondage. Mr allen is in effect urinating or worse, on that sacrifice with his, I hesitate to call it a cartoon.
