Remember the end of La Dolce Vita? A monster had washed up on the shore--but no one knew what it was. And an angel was shouting to them--but no one could hear what she was saying.

George Bush appears to lead them. Not only do they not recognize him as The Hero that can save them, but they have nothing but scorn and derision for him, and they fight against him in every way.

La Dolce Vita--it appears that its days are numbered.

It appears that we know what W. B. Yeats didn't know--exactly what vile beast was slouching onto the world stage.

And don't forget--when the Islamofascists take over France and Britain, they get their nuclear weapons.

This is an important point. The West is caught in a crossfire between "Liberals" on one side and Islamofascists on the other--between condom stores and Islam.

When "Liberals" finally succeed in crushing the healthy heart of Western Civilization and find themselves face-to-face with the Islamofascists, they'll see how witty history can be. Remind me to see the humor.

This time however the European determination to commit suicide may prove too much even for the Americans--especially since millions of Americans seem to share the self-destructive fascination. They call themselves "Liberals"--which, of course, is an Orwellian misnomer.

Even Mr Bush is somewhat constrained. National Review’s "John Derbyshire wrote last week about a ‘1945 solution’ for Iraq. This is shorthand for the bombing of Dresden, the nuking of Hiroshima, etc. — the sort of stern measures that let an enemy know he’s well and truly whipped. But, as Mr Derbyshire points out, war abroad is determined by culture at home, and if we were fighting the second world war today, we wouldn’t nuke Hiroshima or even intern Japanese-Americans: the culture will not permit it. Nor will it permit old-school imperialism. Culturally sensitive nation-building is as aggressive as you can get these days."

This is exactly right. The problem with islamolunatics is that we fight them sporadically and humanely. We beat back just enough to get them off our throats, but not enough to crush them. The Israelis are perfect examples of this. They have been fighting the same war for 40 years. Enough is enough. I prefer the "total war" philosphy of Sherman, Pershing and Patton. Crush the enemy completely, make him scream for peace, destroy his capacity for war and put the fear of G-d into him. This enrage the liberal weanies, but their rage won't last, peace will. We will be better off for it and in the long run, so will the Islamo-scum.

By 2030 those of us left (especially in Europe) ....could be living like the Israelis do today.......go for a pizza or a bus ride & risk getting blown up by Islamic terrorists!
