My wife says RUBBING ALCOHOL removes the grease and/or stickiness from tree sap, axle grease and crayons. Just don't get it in the eyes.

best skunk-ed remedy is:

shampoo (or in your case, anything that suds)
peroxide
baking soda

shake it up and pour it on. It burns the skin slightly, so get it out quick. With the peroxide, you don't want to have it sitting there for too long...or you will have orange hair...LOL

Have you tried Easy-Off Oven Cleaner yet? It's great for removing axle grease and even cosmoline. Peanut butter should be no problem at all...< /sarcasm>

Get a fine-toothed comb and comb out as much of the gunk as possible. Then take some paper towels or toilet paper and rub it into the affected hairs. Keep rubbing until the paper no longer picks up much grease. Wet the area and add a good squirt of dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent or whatever like that you have. Rub it in well and rinse well. Repeat. Dry head. Take three aspirin and go to bed before you cause any more damage.

You have a dog with you, right? You didn't go hunting without a dog, did you?

Have your friend lay down on the floor and whistle for the dog, who will take care of the peanut butter and the beer.

What is a *real* man doing wearing his hair long enough to get gunk caught in it to start with? ;-)

If it were me, I'd simply cut off my hair with scissors.

If he's unwilling to do that, I don't know what to recommend.

About all I have to offer on the subject is that alcohol cancels out oil (don't ask me how I know this).

Okay, let's get down to the real truth here.

A.) bunch of guys in cabin.
B.) Women not around.
C.) Desperate for help to "unstick" something.

Okay, Jaysun --- you brother-in-law has got his DICK stuck in something, right?

Fess up!

Then we can get down to helping you. Blowing it out with gasoline, frying it loose with boiling water, hardboiling it with eggs...

Some of the guys and I are presently at the camping lodge and we’ve got a problem that requires the help of a sensible woman.

You brought your computer camping??

Use Ajax or Comet to get out the peanut butter. This will leave the hair very dry, so rub in a bunch of mayonnaise. Mayonnaise spoils quickly, so pour tomato juice over his head to cover the smell. Add a box of cornstarch to keep the tomato juice from dripping. Blow dry and style as usual.

I would suggest a little Clorox mixed with a little hydrogen peroxide. I'm pretty sure that will work.

Dawn Dishwashing detergent is great for getting greasy
oily stuff out (ie - its used for wildlife soaked from an oil spill).

She's right. My daughter got into a jar of vaseline when she was little. Her head was just caked with it! LOL I had to wash her hair 5 times with Dawn, but it worked. Keep washing...and stop scalding his scalp! LOL

Since it isn't really peanut butter, contacting George Washington Carver with a OuiJa Board won't help much.

How about gasoline? LOL!
