Turn off system restore (tell us what version of Windoze you have) then scan then turn SR back on ...let us know. ;-)
Bill, You're right - just trying to add a little info.

Sys Restore should be found in the "My Computer" properties. Right mouse click on My Computer and click properties. When Properties comes up, click thru the tabs looking for Sys Restore. Then, restart, tap the F8 Key like morse code until your computer comes up in Safe Mode. Select Safe Mode (not the other options) and continue. Once your computer has rebooted, run your virus scan. Then reboot normally.
Since I work on commercial computers I'm not exactly sure how to get to Sys Restore in ME, But give this a try.

Today must be a banner day for viruses.
I use Cox internet, it comes with a virus scan in the Email system. The server does not forward the message to the user but kills it at the server and sends a notice to the user with the originators address.
Today it has blocked 9 infected Emails.

I had a problem that nobody I mean nobody had any idea how to fix. Certain pages on the web would not download or would not download completely. I had to click refresh many times before the page would download.
Finally, I removed Norton anti virus and immediately noticed the problem went away. I installed EZ Anti virus and firewall and everything works fine except now MS Outlook Express doesn't work...

You might now want to go back into Restore to create a new restore point.
