Washington, DC - PipeLineNews.org – 4/21/04- Breaking Story 8:00 AM - PDT - Laura Capps, Kerry campaign media spokesperson, in a just concluded phone interview with PipeLineNews, informed us that the Senator's medical records should be available on the Kerry website, www.johnkerry.com, momentarily.
She denied that there had been a flip-flop on the issue of releasing the records, that the impression that the offer made by the Senator on the Tim Russert, Face The Nation program on Sunday - that all Navy records regarding the Senator's Vietnam era wounds would be released had not been withdrawn on Monday.
When queried on what the records would reveal, Ms. Capps said that the nature of each of the three wounds as well as the treatment record of each would be part of the release.

I thought it was all of his military records. Now it's just the reports on the three Purple Heart wounds? I'd be interested in who recommended him for the Silver Star, whether he or the Navy asked for his transfer out of Nam and his fitness reports.

I want to see the scar from the one on his arm that earned him his first Purple Heart. OK, I can pass on the one on his butt, don't wanna see that, but surely he could show us the arm scar?

I found a link to a pdf of two of his medical reports and on both of them someone insisted that NOK is NOT notified. Kerry hid his wounds from his parents.

If this info is released; I doubt it will be in original form. More likely 'redacted' a bit. . .for (a more favorable)public view.
Kerry manipulates and scams now; he did then.

Ms Capps was carefully parsing her words, there could be no misunderstanding. The information should clearly reveal whether or not the wounds were major or minor and how they were treated, we did not ask her about whether they would be dated but we assume that information would also be available.
