President Bush headed to Buffalo, NY today to discuss Homeland Defense and specifically, the Patriot Act. Bush made his case that if parts of the Act expire, it could weaken our homeland defense. The President then headed to NYC for a victory luncheon fundraiser. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura headed to Louisville, KY to attend and award ceremony. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

So is he fixing a problem?
If he is fixing your computer then, he should not only be out of the doghouse, but there should be brownies in the oven.

Glad that the fire chief was favorably impressed with our president. Maybe the feeling will be contageous.

I gave them my credit card number today. She will use that as a guarantee and we will pay when we leave. I plan on collecting the appropriate amount at the door LOL.

Oh, right. I got that e-mail. I thought about hosting one but I didn't think I would have enough time. It would've been nice if someone else at my college would've hosted one though.

She can come to ANY party I go to, as far as I'm concerned.
You know what's funny?
As often as I've looked at pictures of the President before I went to bed, I've never dreamed about him, but I have dreamed about sitting and talking with Laura, just like we were old friends.
I think if I actually ever got to meet her, that's the way it would be.....

We did have about 20 people who said they are coming. I'm trying to pin them down to definite now. It's like pulling teeth to get them to respond to my mail.

I thought so too :) It was about the time I was hearing all about the rat candidates and thinking, "I need to make sure none of them get elected!" So I joined freerepublic and the official re-election site and starting wearing my buttons every day.

Sounds like a plan. :o)
I know she used to sing a bit. I figure we'll be in the heavenly choir together.
Not sure if her husband will make the cut, though.....
