President Bush headed to Buffalo, NY today to discuss Homeland Defense and specifically, the Patriot Act. Bush made his case that if parts of the Act expire, it could weaken our homeland defense. The President then headed to NYC for a victory luncheon fundraiser. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura headed to Louisville, KY to attend and award ceremony. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

She sure looks like she'd be fun to hang out with, doesn't she?? Perhaps she could come over to the party for a bit.

They are going to send me a contract to sign and I have to give them a number of attendees. They will charge us according to that number. I don't want us to end up paying for a no-show (unless it is an emergency of course).

Well, I'm SURE they wouldn't mind paying for me to go on a week long cruise. It could be an early graduation present. (Even though I don't graduate till next year.)

I listened to every step he made this morning, I live just outside Buffalo. It was wall to wall coverage. Great speech, even better forum, President Bush sounded relaxed and very confident.
He made an impression on the mostly democrat audience, the acting firechief from the city said that he was very impressed and was sure the the President was a man of his word and very compassionate to his concerns over homeland security.
Michael Battle was on the radio this afternoon, he really likes President Bush. M. battle is the Black man to the right of the President.
I was sickened by the protesters outside. The City of Buffalo Mayor didn't show up, and neither did the Chief from Lackawanna where the lackawanna 6 came from. democrat losers.

Hi, ILW!
Guess what?
Yesterday I was so bust posting my rant that I forgot it was my second anniversary as a FReeper
I registered under the screenname "ClaraSuzanne" but changed it later to "Pippin"
so as a FReeper I'm 2 years old!

My Spanish professor (also the assistant dean) was understanding when I explained about my migraines. Technically, nothing's really changed since then, I just thought I would suck up--I mean, ask him if he can recommend something that would help me, like a website or something. And my psych professor is also very understanding. I think if I go talk to her and explain things and ask her for help, she'll be willing to work with me. I'm feeling much more optimistic these days and I think things will work out.

I'm sure that once you 'splain that you are taking your books with you that it will be fine. Just don't mention the part about talking to the professors.

...his smile seems to come from way down deep inside him. It lights up his face with joy in a way that cannot be duplicated by the would-be pretenders to the presidency. Thanks for your great report, and you're right - he has a super smile!
To: kitkat
WOW! What a GREAT report, kitkat!
THANK you!!
I'm glad you agree that he is much better looking in person than in photos.......and that's saying something!
But mostly, I loved the way you described the goodness and joy welling up inside of him.
Wonderful report!

We're having "A Party for the President" in Newark, Ohio on April 29th. It's a national thing thought up by the Bush Cheney 04 campaign.

I don't blame you for that a bit.
You should probably get everyone to pay you right away........don't want people unintentionally forgetting about it, and having to hound them (us).

Hi Rus
Yup! I think it was Sandy Beach who said on radio that it was typical of the partisan attitude of the Dems. They couldn't even put partisanship aside long enough to greet the President of the United States.
But I was glad to hear that there were as many pro-Bush people there as protesters.

Good idea. By the time exams are over, my grades should be good. So there's no reason they need to know about talking to professors.
