Alice seems to be satisfied with simply making fun of what a loser copycat Manson is. The difference between the two is Alice knows it's an act and when to leave it behind to lead a quiet normal life, Marilyn doesn't, this lack of knowledge is probably shortening Marilyn's life which in the end will give Alice the last laugh.
