This is the headline in one of the largest newspapers in Sweden. I did a quick and dirty translation of the first half of the article. The remainder is mainly backgrounder on the Iraqi situation.

Four suspected terrorists were arrested yesterday in Stockholm and Malmoe. Boy, these thugs really get around don't they?
The way they keep cropping up everywhere around the world, no wonder JeFin' Kerry says it was a lie to state the presence of terrorists in Iraq! /sarcasm

Or that terrorist threats are greatly exaggerated! They keep popping up in the most unsuspecting places, most unlikely Sweden. They must have stuck out like a bunch of sore thumbs among the pasty white population.

You haven't been to Sweden lately?
Sweden is chock full of islamic immigrants. You have zones in the city of Malmoe which are virtually no go zones after they started their mini intifada there, and stones police and fire trucks.

No, this is no big surprise.
Appart from one "Swedish" man sitting in Gitmo, we have the recent case of the "Swede" from Morroco arrested in Copenhagen, and then it was mentioned in a miniscule little piece in Aftonbladet day before yeaterday that another "Swede" had been sentenced in absentia to 20 years i Tunisia for preparing terrorist acts.
We are now starting to reap the harvest of a too lax immigration policy.

Or that terrorist threats are greatly exaggerated! No doubt they have been exaggerated at times, however I sure hope the day doesn't come where governments become complacent enough to right off the exaggerations, after all it only takes one mistake in the defense of such a foe to reek havoc, where as a mistake make by the perpetrators means a minimal loss on their part.

Have I've been completely cut off from the news (comes from FReeping too much I guess) or have there been a media black-out on this?

Agreed. We (United States) cannot allow our guard to be let down or ignored so much so that it allows another 9/11 to happen upon our shores.
