WABC's radio's Bachelor & John Loftis (sp) reporting Syria gave Iraq's chemical WMD to AlQaeda. Captured trucks in Jordan with chemicals with Vx attack would have killed 20,000.

Has this been reported mainstream yet?
Sounds like Boy King is trying to do his part for the right side.

(This is it. We either win and prevail or we lose and get tossed into that dustbin W mentioned!)
I'm sorry, but unless I see this on FOX (yet alone ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, BBC, Sky News, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Washington Post, etc.) I am skeptical about the claims.
Surely, this would get some type of media treatment.
To: LdSentinal
It's been on FOX a few times.

Really? I guess I would like the other media outlets to report it -- of course, that would require King Hussein to hold a press conference announcing this.

"still, I will agree that its would be very difficult logistically to move that stuff into a position where it could be dumped in quantity in London or Paris. But its not impossible." On a boat...

Jordan's King Abdullah postponed a meeting with President George W. Bush scheduled for Wednesday, citing concerns about Washington's position on the Middle East peace process, officials said on Monday.Try this on. The attack was to take place during the summit in an attempt to get the President. The irony is that they would have used Iraqi gas to do it, you know, the WMDs that the dims say were never there.

So we have Poison gas described as VX coming into Jordan from Syria by close al queda associates of al-Zarqawi to attack Jordan and American soil. Now let me see if I remember Bush's rationale for going to war, seems to me that it had to do with the Iraqis giving al queda members in Iraq (including identifying al-Zarqawi by name)WMD such as VX gas which was an Iraqi speciality to be used in terrrorist attacks against the United States and its allies. Hmmm obviously Bush lied and mislead all of us. It will be interesting to see the media try to bury this story deep. It will be some where with the Iraqi yellow cake showing up in Europe or the nuclear centifuge found in the Iraqi scientist's rose garden.

Hes trying to be a 21st century leader to people who are hung up in a 14th century mindset. It can't be easy, especially for one so relatively young.

Where the hell is the press? What are they waiting for? I know that they're waiting for: they're waiting fo 20,000 dead. Then, they'll blame Bush for his incompetence in letting Iraq's weapons get out of the country and they'll forget all about their shouts of how they never existed, etc, etc.
The news story if the attack succeeded
THOUSANDS DEAD IN WMD ATTACK:
Bush Failed to Block Iraq WMDs
Bush is in danger of being impeached as Democrats call for an investigation on Bush's failure to stop the use of Iraq WMDs by AlQueda that killed thousands in Jordan.
London, Washington, and New York have been evacuated as those cities prepare for similar chemical attacks. Millions are fleeing other large cities in the U.S., Europe and other Western democracies as residents fear that their cities are the next targets.
The civilizations and economies of the U.S. and the other Western democracies are in danger of collapsing. Grocery stores and gas stations have run out of product as panicked customers bought out their inventories. Banks and gun stores are closed after runs on them.
John Kerry said that "the WMDs would still be safely sitting in Saddam Hussein's hands if Bush had not taken us to war without an 18th UN resolution. The UN could have handled this. Bush forced Saddam to disperse his WMDs. Now, all Americans will pay the price for not getting him to agree to keep the WMDs in his country. Bush failed again to connect the dots."
When pressed for his solution, Kerry said: "We should get the UN to ask AlQueda not to strike again or else we will get a strong resolution condemning the AlQueda attacks."

Of course beyond politics this story commits the ultimate sin in the eyes of the media, proving them hoplessly wrong. Even more than the incredible political bias and anti-American sentiment their pathetic ivy league, elitist egos just cannot fathom that they could be wrong on an issues so obviosly the story is wrong.

Nerve gas can withstand high temperatures. High explosives reacha temperature of 3500 degrees. Nerve gas does not incinerate until temperatures above 4000.I don't think that is accurate. VX is a phospho-organic and as such, the carbon-carbon bonds would dissociate far below 4,000 F, more likely around 700 - 900 F. Of course, in a detonation type explosion, the casing may stay intact long enough for adiabatic cooling to preserve the chemical.
BTW: "nerve gas" isn't really a gas at all. If you could rub it between your fingers without dying immediately (which you can't), you would observe that it is an oily, viscous liquid at about the same consistency as baby oil. The key to its effective use militarily is to disperse it in micro-droplets so that it can both contact a human as a droplet and to provide such a large surface area that it volatalizes into a vapor.

Has anyone given the thought to....THEY PROBABLY HAVE MORE OF THIS STUFF!!!! I hope our troops still have their chem suits with them!
To: Jewels1091
It does seem a bit odd that so many supposedly from the Sunni triangle were disrupting our troops on the western border with Syria. To what end? Hopefully they aren't trying to get some of the stuff back into Iraq.
To: easonc52
Or MORE stuff out! Has anyone thought about the big political conventions this summer...wouldn't that be something! Lorf, we have to go into Syria, I just know it. We have to find this stuff, everyone knows that's where Saddam's stash went!
To: Dr Snide
It will be VERY interesting to follow news out of Jordan. I fear it might be very quiet though.
To: LdSentinal
I just googled it. The NY Post has it, and they got it from Reuters. Hardly any other news organization is carrying the story, and most that do, leave out the part about chemicals.
Remarkable.
To: Eurotwit
NBC has had this story since the morning of the 18th.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4771882/ I refuse to watch the NBC lines of propaganda but has anyone seen the story on their news programs? Like I said, buried deep. The administration is going to have to learn that they have to get the message out because the media is working actively against them.
