Since the officer who literally pulled a dozen victims from the rubble isn't around to tell us what he saw, how about calling as a witness the Doctor who treated many of the victims initially, and stated that uninjured BATF agents came to him to have nonpresent wounds bandaged so they'd appear to have been inside when the blast happened.

Dr Chumley, I believe his name was. Let's call that courageous physician to testify as to what he observed.

You can probably cross link these. The Los Alamos fire, which didn't burn the complex, but wiped out hughe acreage around it, was set by DOI Forrestry people, despite high winds and a ridiculous fire index.

No one in their right mind would attempt a "controlled burn" under those circumstances.

Unless, that is, they were trying to destroy or obfusticate something. After the fire, the drives with the N.E.S.T. data* majically re-appeared behind the Xerox machine...

*Kinda the equivalent of a Chilton's manual for every weapon in the US Nuclear Arsenal.

The seismograph at the university of OK picked up two events. This was explained away as a refraction at first, then as the explosion, followed by the building's collapse. Do a search on the OK City Bombing at http://www.thenewamerican.com for info, this has been around since the dust started settling. The JBS smelled a rat right away.

THe lone nut scenario never washed. McVeigh was taken into custody while driving in a car with no license plate, with a loaded 9mm pistol handy.

I may be being picky, but I believe McVeigh's Glock was a .45, purchased in Ogden, KS. His New York carry permit, obtained when he was an armored car guard, was for a previously owned 9mm Glock.

Apparently the other previously buried leg wasn't able to be DNA tested because it was embalmed and not enough material to test. This sounds like bs and if nothing else survived of this individual except for one leg then this person may have been in the truck. Some folks on usenet were discussing this once

I read on the thread about Yeakey that Chumley met an untimely death too.

Did Dr. Don Chumley crash on the evening of September 25th due to bad weather? Did he commit suicide due to his grief over what he saw on the morning of April 19th. Or was Don Chumley murdered? It was rumored that Chumley was about to go public with some damning information. According to Michele Moore, who has investigated the bombing, Chumley was asked to bandage two federal agents who falsely claimed to have been trapped in the building that morning. Since the pair was obviously not hurt, Chumley refused. When the agents petitioned another doctor at the scene, Chumley intervened, threatening to report them. When Chumley learned of the government's hastily planned cover- up, he apparently decided to go public. It seems he never got the chance. ________________________________________________________ Tonia Yeakey in the interview confirms that Dr. Chumley and Terry were definately connected. They were sharing pictures and information about the bombing and she also stated Terry was once a patient of Chumley's, contrary to the assertions of others that the two had never met. Chumley died in the September before Yeakey died in the following May.

...and not to totslly change the subject, but what about the Egypt air that the pilot crashed into to sea? No one ever called that terrorism. Wonder if Jamie Gorelick shut that one down too?

That pilot used maneuvers which might be used trying to dodge a heat-seeking missile in a fighter aircraft--only in a much larger plane.

Alternately, he might have been trying to keep someone from taking the aircraft and using it as the ones were used on 9/11.

What is the explanation by the prosecutors of how McVeigh drove the rider truck AND arranged to have his getaway car around the corner from the Murrah Building?

Carol Howe. BATF informant (later denied by the BATF) was in an enclave known as Eloihim City, and tried to give warning that the Murrah Building was a target for a bombing.

She also claimed a West German National, one Andreas Strassmeier, was involved.

I don't know how he fits in, or if this was the smokescreen part of the op to tie all of this in with the 'extreme right wing conspiracy'.

Her presence/denial may be a red herring designed to get the right wing looking at theories other than Iraq.

Why would Clinton cover up Muslim involvement in the OKC bombing?

Simple. Like him or not, agree with his approach or not, Clinton was actively involved in negotiating a settlement between Rabin and Arafat. Things were looking pretty good for Clinton at the time. If he could pull it off, it was a certain Nobel Peace Prize.

Of course, it was a tenous negotiation with an exceptionally untrustworthy Arafat. Negotiations would certainly be derailed if US public opinion rallied to obtain justice for Muslim sponsors of the OKC bombing. Many Muslims - Al Queda, Iran, and many others -- already saw the US as an enemy of Islam. Arafat would be unable to continue any dialogue with the US if it became more actively belligerent with Iraq. (In retrospect, it seems clear that he was negotiating in bad faith anyway.)

I am not saying that this OKC conspiracy theory is correct ... but, if it were, Clinton would have strong motivations to cover up.

A thornier question of motivation relates to the linkage between a pair of rednecks from a Christian culture with a bunch of crazed Islamofascists or Iraqis. They do have one thing in common, though, and that is anti-Semitism. I suppose McVey was disenchanted with the motives for Gulf War I, but just how would make the connections with Iraqi agents? It seems to be a bit of a stretch, but more unusual things have happened in history.
