Madrid Policeman's Body Burned (Surely TROP™ wouldn't do something so depraved… would they?)

Madrid, Spain – The body of a Spanish police officer who was killed in a raid on suspected Islamic terrorists was removed from its tomb Sunday night, dragged across a cemetery, doused with gasoline and burned, a Spanish police official told CNN.

Police do not know who committed the crime, and an investigation is under way.

Francisco Javier Torronteras, a special operations police officer, died April 3 during a police raid in a Madrid suburb where police believed suspects behind the March 11 Madrid train bombings were hiding.

The suspected terrorists set off a bomb during the raid and seven of them died, of whom four have been identified.

Police said the suspected ringleaders of the train bombings were among those killed.

Torronteras was not buried underground, but in an above-ground tomb at Madrid's Southern Cemetery.

I believe it was Winston Churchill who once said, "appeasement is the vainglorious hope that the tiger will eat you last." Alas, for Spain it would appear she will be eaten first. This despite a radical change in political direction, and withdrawal of its troops from Iraq in the hope that, as one Spaniard was quoted as saying "maybe now the terrorists will leave us alone." This article should be passed along as a reminder to all who lives depend upon others who wear the uniform (military and law enforcement), appeasement merely whets an aggressor's appetite.

Bush Letter Cites 'Crusade' Against Terrorism

The March 3 letter, which Bush-Cheney Campaign Chairman Marc Racicot sent to new campaign charter members in Florida, lauded the Republican president for "leading a global crusade against terrorism" while citing evidence of Bush's "strong, steady leadership during difficult times."

I feel bad for this man's family. Not only did he die trying to do the right thing but now the bastards desecrated his body. Does Spain really think that they are going to be rid of the problem just by turning over everytime the terrorists tell them to do so? I can see more Spanish hostages down the road, more bombings, etc. It will not end.

Look for civil war in Spain and in France. You will see the unrest in French Muslims develop into mass looting on the Champs Elysee and the desacration of many "infidel" historic shrines. As my grandma once told me, give 'em an inch and they will take a mile.
