Boy is this going to generate a schizophrenic response in Spain.

Gee, removing their troops from Iraq sure did work, didn't it?

Is Espana going to withdraw from Madrid now?

What makes anyone suspect that the Islamma-wamma-dingdongs had anything to do with this? It's not like they've been know to desecrate bodies or anything...

Well, if one doesn't stand up to the bully, they just keep asking for more of your lunch money. Pretty basic lesson most kids learn in grade school.

They may not know who but they sure as hell know that they're muslims.
Muslims, desicrating the dead that nobody else want to desicrate.

So I guess giving in to Islamic terrorists only results in more demands. Who'da thunk it???
Spain can look forwards to MUCH more of this sort of thing. Al Qaeda has them by the balls.

I believe it was Winston Churchill who once said, "appeasement is the vainglorious hope that the tiger will eat you last." Alas, for Spain it would appear she will be eaten first. This despite a radical change in political direction, and withdrawal of its troops from Iraq in the hope that, as one Spaniard was quoted as saying "maybe now the terrorists will leave us alone." This article should be passed along as a reminder to all who lives depend upon others who wear the uniform (military and law enforcement), appeasement merely whets an aggressor's appetite.

Now that you have withdrawn from Iraq, Spaniards, stand on your heads and bark like a dog!
To: quidnunc
Another example of the folly of appeasement. Spain, your torment is just starting. When you give in to bullies, don't expect them to give up on you.

I feel bad for this man's family. Not only did he die trying to do the right thing but now the bastards desecrated his body. Does Spain really think that they are going to be rid of the problem just by turning over everytime the terrorists tell them to do so? I can see more Spanish hostages down the road, more bombings, etc. It will not end.

the problem is that Zapatootie wasn't socialist enough. Time for new elections

Let me guess. A boy scout troop? A Methodist choir? A group of Swedish Tourists? Some vampire killers?
My oh my, WHO could POSSIBLY have done this???
I'm at a total loss.

Only Mohammedans or their unholy allies, the self-loathing anti-authoritarian Far Left are capable of this atrocity. I honestly don't think that the new Spanish PM, Mohammed Zapatero, will do anything to fight his masters. Hopefully he is going to prove me wrong... (though very unlikely!)

I don't know beans about the Spanish constitutuon, but I'm hoping they will snap out of this and recall Tapazero.
It is like they've painted a big bull's eye on their forehead with their election and now with this troop removal they are holding up an arrow that says shoot here.
