Like Algore, John F*ckin' Kerry has to call attention to a record that's far from impressive. True greatness speaks for itself.

This is not necessarily a contradiction. It could have been both a minor skirmish and the worst action he saw.

The worst action my Dad saw during the Korean war was an altercation outside the gates of Amarillo Air Force Base.

was probably the most frightening night that they had that they were in Vietnam."

And what exactly does this say? What were the other nights like?

"Meet the Press" moderator Tim Russert was apparently unaware of the contradiction and did not question Kerry on his newly dramatized account.

Gee. The Cuomo Aid didn't follow up on a question that might embarrass Kerry. How about that.

More to the point, what does Kerry think of the Vietnam War experience? Someone should have asked him if he still feels the same way he felt in 1971, that it was all a big mistake.

Ahhh yes - "I found on second thought the incident to have been frightening when I thought the first time around it was much ado about nothing." - John F*ckin' Kerry two faced quote.

Somebody else had already mentioned the rumor that Kerry serenaded Katie Couric with Saxon lyrics, singing: “I'm a soldier of fortune, I'm trained and I'm ready to kill. Put me in battle, I follow the sound of the gun."

I'm no Kerry supporter, but minor shmynor.

I don't want the RNC/GOP to go down this road. Kerry looks like a fool for attacking GWB's service, since many Guard personnel are fighting right now, and so could he have, back in the 60's. He just lucked out.

But I have my own minor combat experience, and it scared the hell out of me. It was in Somalia, It was ugly, and I knew I could die that day. That's enough for most people.

Kerry's wounds may have been minor or not even classifiable as wounds, but we do not want to get into a pissing match about such things. Let others do that, and we just take heart that GWB did serve.

This is the wrong battle.

I felt terribly seasoned after this minor skirmish," Kerry continued to Brinkley. "But since I couldn't put my finger on what we had really accomplished or on what had happened, it was difficult to feel satisfied."

Kerry's obviously not cut out for serving as commander in chief when 4GW (fourth generation warfare) is central to his responsibilities.
