Meet the Press. Anyone keeping track of how many times Kerry says the word "Vietnam"? - I am

Posted on 04/18/2004 7:42:23 AM PDT by dictatorMA

So Far Timmy is letting Botox get away with it (shock there I know), but I have been noticing something very interesting... At 38 minutes into the broadcast Kerry and Timmy have said the word "Vietnam" 40 Times (mostly from kerry)... whereas combined they have said the word "Iraq" only 11. Reason I found this interesting is becuase I ask myself, which is more relevant today?

All in all though I am happy with the broadcast since Kerry is coming across as not only horribly boring, but evasive and weak as well.

I don't enjoy watching a couple of grown men Kissing A**.
The only thing I want to see is Kerry's medical records from the service. I hear he requests his own purple hearts.

He's a megalomaniac. Taking movies of yourself in combat gear for later use in politics. Using the 3 Purple Heart rule (Scratches all) to further political ambitions. There no root or base to the guy except:
J.F.K....Just For Kerry.
The fellow could not lead a wolf to a pork chop.

He said that anybody can come to his campaign headquarters and request his medical records. I hope somebody takes him up on it.

He mentioned Viet Nam for the first time less than one minute into the show. I've lost track of how many time he has said it now. He has also cited Woodward's book as Gospel a number of times. This man is sickening. I wish Russert would bring up a lot of other things - release of his service records for instance.

This would make for a great drinking game. Slam a shot every time Kerry says Vietnam.....unfortuniately most would die from alcohol poisoning.

Notice he didn't say they would get them - just that they could request them.

The funny side of this is that apparently the only job Mr.Kerry was able to perform with a some degree of competence is to command a small boat with 5 men crew. After that he was one the most prominent antiwar protesters, a District Attorney, Leutenant-Governor, US Senator and long standing member of US Senate Intelligence Committee, but he could not find much that is worth to be mention in public.

I get the distinct impression that Timmy is a Democrat from a Democratic family who always votes Democrat and who served as a top-level aid to a influential Democrat. I am probably wrong though. They just wouldn't allow that. Would they?

Weak and evasive, indeed, to anyone who can see. It was clear that he would not agree to release his military records, but instead said "they can come and see them". HA!, that must be a weasel option, and he did not say he would "release" or authorize access to his records, like Bush did.

I don't thnink this is lost on the audience.

Ditto, on his wife's financial records., the answer was NO, she wont release them, instead he said she is not legally required to and so wont. He said as well, just be satisfied with what she and I put down on a senate ethics form. MMMMMM ther must be a big difference which makes a difference to this putz.

Finally, the film clup of Kerry's 1971 appearance on Meet the Press was, I think, devastating for him for anyone who is not already on his cool aide. He is so snivelling in the 1971 clip and then he minces and tapdances around his words from back then. He says they are "totally honest" but still he does not feel good about them and that they wee "over the top". He is a s--t, I am sorry. It has to come through to anyone with an eye to see.

" He's a megalomaniac. Taking movies of yourself in combat gear for later use in politics. Using the 3 Purple Heart rule (Scratches all) to further political ambitions. "

Not to mention, saying repeatedly that Nixon sent him to Vietnam, when, in fact, it was LBJ. Nixon, 2 months into his presidency, brought Kerry home on the fast track.

But "Nixon sent me" sounds so much juicier when preaching to old hippies, so he just lies, for political effect.

Despite the fact that Russert is a former DNC active member and presently an active member of the Democrat Media Shills, I think generally Russert did a decent interview. He gave Kerry a few passes, though: 1. He did not press Kerry on the foreign leaders issue, when he could have at least asked if it was in a restaurant and was that how Kerry would conduct his foreign policy?

2. He could have followed up on Kerry's so-called tax-reduction plan and asked if Kerry was certain that his play would repatriate domestic corporations to the US and would that group of companies include the 57 plants that Heintz has abroad?

Generally, Russert, despite his background, had Kerry on the defensive.

Get the transcripts, and do a word count on "LOOK." A psych teacher once told our class that the word "look" is used by the extreme arrogant and elite to subconsciously say "I know more than you, you dumb sh*t, so shut up and listen!"
