The point is she has to sit in the witness chair and testify. The commission needs to know when this memo was written and under what level of understanding or coordination it was disemminated. We need to know if the complaints from those agents in the field who were so frustrated by her actions ever made it back to her and, if so, why Reno was never told. The reasons why she has to testify are OBVIOUS. The reasons why the commission are playing CYA are obvious, too - their credibility is lost and the only way to restore it is to put her on the stand. But as soon as she's placed on the stand she has to recuse herself from the committee. Thus another stonewall by Gorelick and her defenders.

part of the 9/11 Commission's work-- is to investigate "Enemy No. 1".

This is most irritating. I want her tried for treason along with all the klintoonistas. I considerable myself a reasonable person and I can't understand why gorelick and others of her ilk are not in prison or have not been tried and convicted of treason and thus hung. This is so absurd. I remember telling people during the Klintoon years that you will see I am right but unfortunately the damage will have been done because half the people in this country are too damn stupid to understand the danger of this regime, we will be lucky to survive as a country when it all unravels.
